Morning DDA and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
For some reason i woke up at 448 and cant go back to sleep--I have to get up at 6 anyways, so i just got up and here i am-
Todays plan is just work and tomorrow i have NOTHING planned, its amazing!!
Sunday i have a "blind date. " My best friend from PA is coming with her boyfriend and another guy and were all going to the beach for the day--Itll be interesting im sure, never been on a blind date haha...Have a great day all!

I bet you didn't expect to see me post this morning!

The hospital called at 6:10 a.m. to say they currently have no beds. They were very apologetic, and they asked that we call and check the status at 10 a.m.

Of course, Kevin and I were ten minutes from walking out the door, so we're wide-awake. I'm grateful that we don't have to sit around the waiting room, but I'm jealous that my mom and Alyssa are still sleeping.

I told Kevin we should have gone to see the midnight showing of Pirates!!! I FORBID any of you to brag about having a date with Captain Jack until I finally get to see it! (you hear that Dawn?!!)

Thank you so much for all your well wishes and prayers. I still vow I will get caught up on the thread. Hopefully I won't be back at 10 a.m. to post about another delay!

Oh how frustrating for you Amy. But all of my girlfriends who have had the hospital say there is no room for them all started labor naturally so no matter what they had to find a bed for them. So here's some to get this started. Sending you for a safe delivery. Can't wait to meet Matthew! Go back to bed!

I'm up way past my bedtime, but I had to catch up, and also I have to tell you all about my annual evaluation. I had the evaluation last Friday morning, and then went away for the weekend, so I didn't think about posting until tonight. I got a raise, I got my THREE WEEKS vacation, and I got a BONUS. I guess the bonus enabled me to go a little bananas with the Pal Mickey wardrobe tonight! Melanie went with me, and she was laughing about it the whole evening (I think WITH me, not AT me). The co-worker's mom says we are all nuts (me, Danielle, and the Mom), but we are having a lot of fun. Danielle said that this is going to be the best Disney trip they've ever had because of me (and that's because of all of you). They wouldn't have even had free dining if I hadn't let them know about it and then pushed them to try and get it, and I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for the Disboard. The Mom has never even heard of Pal Mickey, and now she's excited because mine is coming to visit and is going with them to the world. I did a t-shirt desgn for them for MNSSHP and they just love it - see all of this is spreading because fo the Dis and especially the DDA. Isn't it great how we spread the pixie dust?

I don't know if y'all remember me from way back when the whole design frenzy started, but I'm Kaylyn. I kind of went off designing for a while, and stopped going on the DIS as well...Now I'm back onto it and I remember the good old DDA...So, of course, I go to find the old thread...not there. After searching around the boards, I finally found the designers! They gave you an entire forum?! Way to go, DDA! Anyways. Just wanted to drop in, say hello.

Oh Amy, Kevin and Matthew. How disappointing! I know you are so ready to see the little guy. Do whatever it is that you can to get yourself to go into labor and what can they say? Walk, drink cranberry juice, and especially since everyone else is still sleeping, I hear ODTT works for getting labor started! Good thoughts coming your way today!

I have a little idea for you... next year don't put vacation right before school starts silly.

Next year, unfortunately, there will be no vacation so no worries there. But summer still won't be anywhere near long enough.

Amy -- that happened to me too, but I DID go in to labor that morning (as Robyn and Tammi suggested) so they put me in a holding room for C-sections. Here's hoping the big event does happen today and that you are able to get some rest this morning.

July 1st was our last day there and we spent it at MGM (our favorite). It was hot, no doubt, but the crowds were unbelievably low. We road the TOT twice in 10 minutes, and didn't wait for anything other than characters and even those were very manageable. We were shocked

Aww...if I get to brag about a date with Capt. Jack before you, it's only because you're cuddling a more handsome little . I won't brag, though.
