I agree with you all about the summer going to fast. I want our trip to get here, but I am not ready for the boys to be back in school. It just seems so stressful with the homework, activities, & everything else that goes on.

Garrett will be in 7th grade & Riley will be in 5th. I don't have babies anymore, they get more independant everyday. This makes me sad, I would love to still be able to hold them & rock them to sleep at night. My where does the time go

So I think I'm going to throw a luau and Celebrate all 3 kids birthdays in August instead of Sept, Oct and Nov. They will each have a friend party on their birthdays so they don't mind. I can use the lights and other decorations to decorate our yard. We will actually be able to play games outside and it will be much nicer than craming 40 people in our house. So any suggestions for Hawaiian themed parties. Games or Decorations or Food?

I'm up way past my bedtime, but I had to catch up, and also I have to tell you all about my annual evaluation. I had the evaluation last Friday morning, and then went away for the weekend, so I didn't think about posting until tonight. I got a raise, I got my THREE WEEKS vacation, and I got a BONUS. I guess the bonus enabled me to go a little bananas with the Pal Mickey wardrobe tonight!

Ok, no one tell Amy, but I am going to see Pirates tonight with a friend. We haven't had a girls night out in a long time so I am looking forward to it & drooling over Johnny Depp!

We're still at home. I called at 10 a.m. and the charge nurse said that they have no intention of "cancelling," but they are still too full. Instead of giving me a call back time, she said to eat a light lunch and that they'd call me! Ugh! I hate waiting for the phone to ring!!!

Hopefully this will be my last post for a while. Thanks for all your encouragement (though ODTT is out of the question!!!).

I think that just means you have a chance to sneak in a viewing of POTC before going. Grab a sandwich and hit the theater ASAP. You'll be out before they are ready!

There's a really cute thing on themouseforless.com. It's links for a paper chain that are decorated with Disney characters. I printed out 30 of them, and a month before our trip, the chain magically appeared. I told my kids that Tinkerbell had left it to make their wait more fun. Each night they got to take one down, and they loved to watch it get smaller and smaller.

Also on that site are journal pages for your kids to use and help them remember all they did at the World. I adapted them a bit for use at DL, but my kids loved them. I put them in small school folders, and then printed off a bunch of Disney coloring pages for the airplane ride down.

We also did a Disney movie countdown before our trip. We would watch a different Disney movie each night before we left. It got my kids in the mood, and when we got to DL, they knew most of the stories behind the rides. It helped the twins out a lot.

Love the movie countdown idea.
