Nope dad was a prankster, ringing a doorbell and running is something he would do.

So they just said "William is your uncle" in POC. Chris laughed and pointed it out. He said to say hi to Clare. I guess he pays more attention than I give him credit. :cool1:

Deb

DO you mean Bob? :teeth:
:thumbsup2

I was born the same day as the first test tube baby.

And our local newspaper headline today: Truck Dangles off Turnpike.
I don't think Matthew needs a copy of this one!

ETA: I still have the newspaper...you think everyone here should mail her today's front page from their local paper??

I don't think he's want a copy of mine either... 7/7 one year on... it's about the London bombings :sad2:

:wave2: tom!

Good to see you again :)

Well I'm finally caught up... I've also managed to "bless my house" so its nice and tidy and clean :woohoo:

Now to decide... do I get showered have lunch and go to the supermarket... or do I stay in my pjs and try and tackle that darn attic!

Or do I continue shopping for villas with pools in Kissimmee... I've been doing it for the last couple of days and there are just soooo many to choose from :rotfl:

ETA - I mean a villa to rent for my November trip... not to buy! I wish... :rotfl:

I hate the supermarket too... but it's hot in the attic and I can't be bothered to be moving furniture today... so the supermarket wins! :rotfl:

PM let Vicki out of the half-neslon! She is a good person and will continue to buy you things, but give the lady a break. You and your store order or was she an EBay order Bride do not need fannypacks.

Kate got the honors of "picking" just the right bride for PM from WDW. He knew that she would get him the right kind of wife. Independent, sweet, kind, strong, funny, ...

Don't read below if you will freak out.

On July 4th, DH hung up our wireless doorbell. That night is rang at 9:30, no one there. On Wed night it rang at 10:00 again no one there. I looked up and said dad stop ringing the doorbell, it has not rung since.

My dad was a practical joker. After he died, we started having lightbulbs burn out all over the house. It seemed to be at times when I was missing him the most. Now, mind you, it was lots of them!!! Sometimes 2 or 3 in the same day. I think it was Chuck that it was dad trying to get our attention. I talked to my sister and mom about it after a month or so and they had also had an extra ordinary amount of light bulbs burning out. So now everyone time a light bulb burns out in our house, we say "Hi Dad, Miss you!".

Since then I've watched a show on TV about ghosts. It said that electricity is the strongest way for them to get our attention. It comforts me to think that it is my dad. Hope that the doorbell ringing did the same for you.

Do you wonder whay he wanted though?!?!

Since he hasn't been back since she said hi, he probably just wanted her attention so that she knew he was there! That's what happened with our light bulbs anyway. Once we started saying hi, it stopped.

It is almost midnight here and I am exhausted but I know I won't be able to sleep.

Anybody have any ideas to get rid of headaches (other than Excedrin migraine/Tylenol)? I have had this dang nabbut headache off and on for almost 2 weeks and I don't need it/want it anymore!!! I am sure some (okay most of it) is probably stress but please help!!

Make sure you are getting lots of water!!! It is hard to do but 80 oz. a day is the recommended amount. I get my lingering headaches when I'm not drinking enough water.

Matthew is here!!!!!! :jumping3:

He was born at 10:17pm (EST) and weighs exactly 7lb. They're not sure of his length yet, they're going to measure him when they bathe him.

She was still 3-4 cm when she got to the hospital, and didn't get a room until 5:30. Once they broke her water she only had an hour and 10 minute labor, and around 3 pushes. He wasn't reacting well so the Dr. used the vacuum to get him out. The cord was wrapped around his neck but he is fine.

Amy sounds absolutely wonderful for having a baby less than an hour ago!

She asked me to post since it was so late on the east coast.

Hopefully we'll see some pictures soon!

And he got his 7/7 birthday!

CONGRATULATIONS, Amy, Kevin, and Alyssa!!! WELCOME, Matthew!!!

Beth

Yea - I decided to do some designing tonight to keep my mind off it

It is hard to look at him and think anything might be wrong - which is good - but the mom in me just can't let it go - I am getting more worried as we get closer - just becoming so real now!!

DH asked me a question that maybe some of you might know the answer to -

if it is something serious - will our doctor tell us over the phone or will they ask us to come in - although one time I had a test done and the tech told me if it is serious - they would not let me leave the hospital - do you think this will be the case - maybe Jennifer would have answers on Children's protocol!!

:grouphug: It really depends on the doctor's preference, honestly. The TREND is that they will ask you to come in for something bad. But what is 'bad' might not be 'tragic', it could just be abnormal. And some docs like to speak face to face even to explain everything is fine. I wish I had more answers for you, but there isn't really a standard. Just don't freak out if they do ask you to come in, it alone doesn't necessarily signify anything. :grouphug:

While you are there, though, you can defintiely ask the techs and even your doctor how they plan on getting the results to you.

Congratulations Amy and Kevin and Alyssa!!

Welcome to the world Matthew!
