Paula- That is good you had me freaking out that someone else you knew was going to die. This is because I had thought that she had known two people who had died but it was only the little girl. I have been seriously weirded out that you are going to post that someone else you knew has died. I am glad it hasn't come true yet and I hope it doesn't.
Huh? :confused3

Good luck on your test Paula

and that chandelier was Tink!!! But she had to come help me spread some Pixie Dust!! Let me know if you miss her!!

Kate - you're still on. Worried about Nick? I'm sure it will all be good. :grouphug:

Yea - I decided to do some designing tonight to keep my mind off it

It is hard to look at him and think anything might be wrong - which is good - but the mom in me just can't let it go - I am getting more worried as we get closer - just becoming so real now!!

DH asked me a question that maybe some of you might know the answer to -

if it is something serious - will our doctor tell us over the phone or will they ask us to come in - although one time I had a test done and the tech told me if it is serious - they would not let me leave the hospital - do you think this will be the case - maybe Jennifer would have answers on Children's protocol!!

I just went to check out the Pal Mickey thread that you were all teasing me about yesterday. Terry posted about her love of Mickey. Clare also posted a link to our Pal Mickey DDA adventure thread. I wonder how long it will be before the men in white coats come to take Terry & I away!!! They're coming to take me away, ha ha, they're coming to take me away!!!

Here's a thread on Pal Mickey that I like better. People much more in line with my way of thinking. There is actually a guy on there that posted about his wife buying a second one and she is going to make him clothes!!!! See, I'm not alone!!!

Darling-

I never said you were alone....I've just said your nuts!!! :teeth:

Worrying and making up scenarios in your mind isn't going to change anything. Try to relax and think about all of your future trips to Disney with Nick and Julia. I have always believed in not crossing bridges until I come to them. All of this worrying is just going to make you ill, and then what help would you be to Nick if there is something wrong, and you need your strength to help him through getting the problem fixed? There's a saying that helps a lot when you're facing something like this "let go and let God."

Are you working on a design for that recent widower and his family? Or hasn't he gotten back to you yet with what he would like?

June -

our sermon two weeks ago was just about that - and I have been doing a REALLY good job - I really have!! I promise - today has been the worst day yet - nothing to occupy me!

No response from the widower yet - I have a 100 pms anyway!!

Welcome to the world Mattthew!!!

All your DDA aunties and uncles can't wait to "meet" you!!!

If you have 100 pms and there are no links to designing in your signature, I'd hate to think how many you had before! I've been waiting patiently for you to announce you were designing again because I need three names for my friend from work and her party. Maybe if you tell me what the font is I can attempt to do them myself? I don't know if PrintShop will handle it, but I could give it a try!

Hi Theresa. :wave2: Are you in "real time" or catching up?

Go ahead and send them to me - then they are at least in my queue!!

I took the designs out of my siggie thinking then people wouldn't know that I was a designer - :lmao:

that really worked - the requests started POURING in people were so happy I took the note that I wasn't designing out of my signature!!!

Sounds like a great marching band show. I hope she has as much fun marching as I did.

I was in Marching band in junior high through 4 years of college. I wanted to march Drum corps but never did.

Yes it is very competive. I spent every fall Friday night at football games and just about all day Saturday in high school doing Marching band competitions, some Saturdays more than one location. In a competitive circuit called TOB or Tournament of Bands. It covers 9 states on the East coast.

It can be very costly. I lucked out as our program did not charge because we fell under athletics and our football teams makes a nice profit. That and tons and tons of fundraisers to cover band costs and end of the year band trips. I was always selling something to cover costs.

Competitive or just plain old Marching Band can be very time consuming but it is also tons of fun and a very great, positive experience. Otherwise I would not have spent ten year of my life marching. I miss it very much.

Starting in August.....it's a full time job for them. LHS has won the two parade titles that you can win in CO and are probably going to Branson this fall to march in another bigger judged parade(biggest and cheapest to get to from here). The director is trying to get the kids in the Rose parade by the time Cassidy is a junior....it's a HUGE process but I am betting he can do it.

At LHS if you are in any band your first quarter is spent in marching band. The other schools in the area it is optional. I see lots of Saturdays on the parade/competition circuit and Fridays on the football field. Oh well she loves it!!

Thanks. Done! Somehow I have to get their sizes out of them without telling them what's going on. I wanted to do the name ones as a suprise and as my gift. I'm hoping that Danielle will ask me to order the ones for the MNSSHP design I did for them. That way I'll have the sizes and style preferences.

Thanks for the I guess compliments.

Nope those are my actual pictures. :rotfl2: :lmao: I am sure after next As for knowing random facts, I recall lots of stuff that I read, hear and see this is if I actually focus on something and am not multitasking.. I can oftentimes watch a movie and recite the lines in it the second time around. I don' know how I do it, I just do. :confused3

I am also a big fan of google.

I can do that too!! The girls can do it with songs. Jim is always asking how I know things....I don't know I read it I suppose and useless facts often pop out of my mouth!!

My granddaughter was in marching band in her Freshman year of high school. She loved it. I felt so bad when they had to move and she had to change schools. The next school didn't have a marching band. She did play in the stage and jazz bands, though (first clarinet).

caught up!!

But I am in the worrying mode too!!
Mine is mundane though....my id was lost and instead of being a good girl and getting it done as soon as I realized it I waited until this week and the state of CO no longer issues ID on the same day so I am praying for a miracle that it is here on Monday so I can board the plane on Tuesday with no hassles!!

Kate-

I think it all depends on who does the test. When mom went through her cancer scare earlier this year she got it both ways. Worrying is part of being a mom and it drives me nuts!!

Cassidy was the only one(other than the section leader) to show up for a sectional this afternoon so she got individual attention....from an upper classman no less!! She can't wait....a friend is letting us borrow their alto sax for a year so she can work on learning her third instrument.

It is almost midnight here and I am exhausted but I know I won't be able to sleep.

Anybody have any ideas to get rid of headaches (other than Excedrin migraine/Tylenol)? I have had this dang nabbut headache off and on for almost 2 weeks and I don't need it/want it anymore!!! I am sure some (okay most of it) is probably stress but please help!!

Kate-

I tried sitting through the first POTC again tonight and thought of you. I also kept thinking to myself why the heck am I still watching this drivel( :scared: :duck: ), I sorted socks and laundry through half of it.
