Okay January DDAers -

I just called to make my ADRs

Janet - I got 9:30 on the 4th at Donalds

Since I was on the phone - I went ahead and made an ADR for 16 at WCC at 5:00 on Jan. 5 - right now we have 14 people who said yes
Ellen - 4
Kate - 4
Glynis - 2
Lynn - 4

which leaves 2 in case Jennifer wants to go - and then I will talk with Nancy - my mom might be there and I am sure she would love to meet all of you too!!! But I don't know what their plans are - the restaurant seemed WIDE open!!

then I am going to make ADRs at Akershus to see Belle in her gold dress on Saturday - that will be a little later so I can see all the runners bright and early in the morning!!

and on Sunday we are going to try the new hollywood and vine playhouse disney lunch!

I can't believe I went from not sure at all to what we were doing to totally planned in one day!!!!

So speaking of turtles. Yesterday at work my Aunt called to tell me she won a turtle. She won a red earred slider turtle at the fair which she named Emerald as she wasn't sure if it was male or female. I was and I wanted to tell her why I was but I couldn't as there were customers around. I will have to tell her later.

This same Aunt called me today, she was looking for Bail money to get her out of jail...















Actually she was looking for money to get her out of jail but she had volunteered to go to jail. They do a fundraiser around here every year for muscular dystrophy. People from throughout the community volunteer to go to jail.

If it can even be called that, they are picked up by a limo and go to a restaurant where they get food to eat and have a party type thing. They have a set bail amount. This is the amount of money they must fundraise to get out of jail. They have to call friends, family or anyone they want to ask to donate money to go towards muscular dystrophy until they raise enough bail money.

Last year my Aunt did this, she was disappointed that they did not use the handcuffs on her and pick her up in a police cruiser and take her to jail.

She is just so problematic. No not really at all. She is actually more like my sister than an Aunt as she is just 5 years older than me. When I was younger she spent every summer at my house and throughout the year we were together often.

Hmmmm....if my sister's baby doesn't come too early she'll still be on maternity leave that week. Unfortunately, I think I'd be cutting it too close, but I'll definitely have to feel her out for her plans on the materinity leave.

Speaking of which...her ultrasound was tonight. I've been feeling like it's a boy the last few days so we shall soon see. I'm a little sad that we aren't there yet as my other sisters were going to see the ultrasound. Oh well, I get to be there for the baby so I'll take it!
