The day AFTER a colonoscopy?

Everyone has told me about the day before the test

But what about the day after? Do you have a stomachache or anything?

Sorry if this is TMI, but I will reschedule if it is going to ruin a summer weekened. If the test is on Wednesday, do you feel normal by Friday?

I have been fine after all mine. I have had numerous ones in the past few years. In fact, we go through the Burger King drive through next door on the way home because I am usually so hungry. I have had no after effects on any of them.

However, each person is different. But I would say that your chances are almost miniscule that you would be feeling after effects on the weekend if your procedure is on a Wednesday.

No symptoms what so ever after any of the ones I've had - normal eating afterwards and no stomach problems - don't worry!!

On the other hand, the prep!!!! Definitely the worst part!!

Ditto for me. We always stop at McDonalds and pick up breakfast to bring home. Then a good nap and you're fine! (Except for no driving the day of the procedure.)

DH and I always go to work the day after the procedure with no problems.
