But Yay! You did it!! :goodvibes

You know after my first 5K I would have never even thought about finishing a marathon. It is just something that comes on gradually. So who knows what is ahead for you!

I can imagine how it must have felt entering the World Showcase and having to go the long way around...I would have thought I wish we could go the short way! I bet it felt like a long way.

That "run" around the World Showcase did seem like a long way. On the other hand in some ways I didn't want it to end. Because then the race was over and the whole thing was so fun. Did you notice you're still in my display:goodvibes

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You look great crossing that finish line!! I love the way you have your medals displayed and I think you have inspired me to take the plunge and do this next year for real!! :cool1: I have really enjoyed reading about the races that you all participated in!!
Go for it! My advice is to make sure you put the training in. It's a tough race even with doing the training. I can't imagine what it would be like without it:scared1:

Girl, I don't even know you and I am all kinds of proud of you! You rock! Congrats on finishing your marathon! And thanks for a great trip report! It's been a lot of fun to read so far. :D
Thank you so much! And you actually know me better than you think if you've read this whole report. I'm glad you're here.

Way to Go:cool1: You told a wonderful story of your marathon and I can just tell how much it meant to you!!!! Congratulations:)
Thank you. It's a great story to tell and I'm so glad that I have the DIS where I can tell it and people actually listen!

I teared up! You are my hero, I haven't even considered a full as I'm working on my first 5K, but I SO want to but the fear hasn't allowed me to consider it yet. I do think I'll do a 1/2 next year! Thank you so much for sharing your journey, I'm really in awe, you must be so proud!!!!!!
We all start somewhere. The fact that you've started is actually the biggest step! Go for a 1/2 next year! The sense of accomplishment is just incredible! It isn't always easy, but I think it's worth it at the finish line!

WAY TO GO MARATHONER!!:banana::banana::banana:

I'm actually a bit sad that this part of the trip report is over too. Now it will just be a regular old trip report. Still fun, but not quite the same! I hope you still stick around.

Thanks, Carissa. I didn't even notice that was Jouney playing at the finish line. At that moment I was so tired I barely would have noticed if a choir of angels was singing:laughing:

What a fantastic finish! I love that you had the presence of mind to cross over to Minnie. I love that your family was there along the way and such a support to you. Congrats!!!!
