It's the Day after Monday!!!

Today is the "work friends" Bridal Shower for the girl I went to Vegas with. Going to a nice buffet restaurant after work. She is spending the day with her mom, who is supposed to bring her to the restaurant at the planned time. I think my friend knows something is up...but we tried for the surprise. I have the giftie ready, everyone was very generous, and we collected a nice bit of cash for her. I tried the money ribbon last night, and it seems to pull out well. Hope it doesn't break while she is pulling!

Still achey here, but I've goofed off long enough - back to the pool this morning!

Need to start purging my photos - the boxes of prints are taking over my storage space.
(Now, I've SAID it, maybe I can actually DO it!)

Finally getting over a cold that had me laid out flat. Don't want to see what my scale says today. I haven't exercised in four days. Still not at 100%, but way better than before.

Get kiddos to school.
Pull more staples out of floor now that I am better.
Laundry. Do as much as I can before I lose the washer and dryer to the garage.
Figure out grocery list. Will go tomorrow if I still feel better.
Post Office for ATC swap.
If time after staples, pull paper for T'n'T swap and get started on that.
Dinner.
Homework.
Finish laundry.

Take my car to have tire fixed/replaced. DH got home last night and I had a flat tire! He put the spare on so just need to see if they can fix it.
Go to library and pay fine for overdue book
Walmart
Laundry
Clean
Work on AK swap
Dinner - spaghetti with garlic bread (we were supposed to have it last night, but switched to hamburgers instead)
Watch DWTS!

Drop *another* copy of a requested reimbursement off at DSs school - this has been ignored since January. Grrrrr.....

GS meeting this afternoon. No softball because they planned a charity golf event for today - um, hello? Why plan it during a game day? Didn't I pay for my kid to play softball? Whatever, it's supposed to rain anyhow, but it's the principle!

Pay some bills, call Joann's for a refund for the canceled class, SSDD.

Good Morning!

Very stuffy today, I think my allergies from the past couple of weeks have turned into a sinus infection. Whatever's blooming right now is killing me!! Regular allergy meds aren't working, now taking benadryl and it helps a little but I'm a zombie all day. Gotta break down and go to the Dr. so I can get better before Disney.

What a day! It took until 2 p.m. to get a new tire. The flat tire wasn't able to be fixed because it had a key in it! DH says we need to track down the owner of the key and get them to pay for the new tire!! And, of course, my charger doesn't have normal tires so I had to wait for them to get the right tire in and pay lots of $$.

But, then I get home and had 3 good things waiting for me!!!!
1. I got a $15 check from the county for doing jury duty a couple of weeks ago.
2. We got 2 movie tickets from our realtor for referring some friends to her. They bought a house from her.
3. The best news!! I was approved to be a Michaels' scrapbook instructor. I still have to go through training and get Michaels certified, but they told me to go ahead and start picking dates on the calendar for classes. The bad thing is they gave me no other information, like what kind of classes, etc. I guess I'll talk to my manager tomorrow and see what he knows about it. But, I'm excited! This will be fun!!!!

I was approved to be a Michaels' scrapbook instructor. I still have to go through training and get Michaels certified, but they told me to go ahead and start picking dates on the calendar for classes. The bad thing is they gave me no other information, like what kind of classes, etc. I guess I'll talk to my manager tomorrow and see what he knows about it. But, I'm excited! This will be fun!!!!

How did it go?

It went ok. His cough from the pneumonia is still bad but we were in and out in about an hour.

No results until his next Dr appt on June 17th.
They think he may need a fusion. The ball joint replacement parts have been discontinued.

Came home from work to no power so that shot the day out of wack

get to meeting and Tom's aunt comes in and tells me that MIL's best friend just passed away it was expected but still God speed Linda may you and Rita be stichin and ***chin in heaven after you share 6 years of hugs. We love you and treasure our time we had you. May your children and grand children feel your love and strength you instilled in them.

arrived home from said meeting to power coming back on and find out Eric was nailed in the eye by fa pop fly and of course all the damn ice packs are 3/4 of the way defrosted and the ice maker still hadn't been replaced.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
