Here's my list for today (lots to do, and I keep forgetting stuff!!):

3. Pack DH's lunch
4. Write thank you card
5. Finish picking out pictures
6. Wipe down my bathroom & DH's & straighten
7. DS's stuff together
8. DS up
9. DS to mom's
10. Work--do list I have there
11. Take lunch orders
12. Tan
13. Pick up DS
14. Send DH "please do" list
15. Make casserole
16. Take casserole to DBro
17. Walk with DS
18. Dinner: Taco Salad
19. Wash/fold/put away laundry
20. P365 2010 pic
21. Watch DVR'd show?
22. Do some work for work if my laptop is ready
23. Make grocery list
24. Go to sleep early--almost FRIDAY!!!

My list is relatively short:

Send Princess off to school
Pack for NH
Drive to NH (hopefully don't spend too much $ at scrappy stores on the way there)
Unpack in NH
Scrap until my friends arrive
Squeal with delight to see them!!
Scrap some more or go to the liquor store
Eat whatever they are serving for dinner (usually a Taco Bar on Thursday night)
Enjoy some adult beverages with my friends
Collapse at some point!

I'll have my laptop with me, but have a good weekend everyone!

It's so quiet around here with DS down in Tampa and DH down in Ft. Lauderdale. Just me and the kitties. At least DH comes home tonight.

Go to Petsmart
Scrap
Stitch
Dinner - ??
Give DH a big when he gets home (he's been out of town since Monday)

Picked up DS, and he was feeling puny. So no making the casserole (DSIL is pregnant and on bedrest. . .not taking germies to their house!!). I am SO tired today! No reason--other than it's rainy here. . .and I think my monthly friend is coming. Hoping to call it a night early. Didn't get everything accomplished, but there's always tomorrow!!

When life sucks - retail therapy helps.

I grabbed my favorite scrappy kid and we headed out tonight to ACM/Mike's. Had a couple of returns and price adjustments that needed to be made (ka-ching!) and ACM has 50% off their lowest marked-down clearance prices:

Got an I-Top brad maker for $7.50, the matching punches for $5.50, and the brad base thingies for $1.40 each pack.

Got lots of (15+?) packs of Bazzill paper (both the 20 and 25 sheet packs) in pinks, purples, corals, browns, and black and white (which I really needed) for $1 each! Got three Bazzill "Fun" stacks (48 sheets) for $5 each.

Sizzix Bigz dies and some long strip dies for $2.50 each. Disney Cuttlebug cut/emboss dies for $2 each. Assorted EK border punches for $3.50 each.

Danica scored at Mike's for great clearance ribbon and ACM for $1.50 Distress Ink pads.

Poorer but happier!

It gets better.

The ACM manager said when they were hanging up the "50% off clearance prices" signs for this new sale, the workers commented to each other that now they would be sure to see "the scrapbooking lady" (me ) and "the teacher" (someone else) coming in for this sale and spending a lot. They noted that we are "the store's top two customers." If my husband gets wind of that...I'm sunk!
