GOOD Morning, Debbie! Hope you have a nice smooth day at work!

Dh comes home from skiing tonight, so I guess i'd better spend some time tidying up the house - my projects tend to expand to fill the available space, yk how that is.

Debating gym and pool or should I rake or maybe walk or do the video.
get groceries.
write.
work on page kits for crop.
Shrimp and salad for supper.
check the cape cod weather report.
Hydrate!

Happy Day, All!

Morning everyone.

Sorry that you have to work Deb but try to make the best of it!!
Linda enjoy the pool or your walk. Whichever one you choose!

I slept at my nieces house with bubba and her kids so she could work last night. So I'm a little off this morning. I need some coffee and she has no cream!!!! Uuuggghhh. 3 out of 4 of the kids are up and we are crusing the couch watching Martha speaks!
I'm trying to get motivated to get up and going and get my butt to the grocery store. I made my menu and my list so I should be good. But I don't always stick to it. I'm going to try really bad.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, everyone!!

Deb--hope your work day goes ok!
Linda--good luck tidying! I'm so not good at that!

Holly poor you hope you make it till she gets in and you get some coffee
Brooke I like your nice short list.

No cream?! Eeeeep! That's a deal breaker!

I'm up. I'd rather be in bed, but having early birds in the house (and being one) makes it tough. I'm going to do something crafty this morning. Morgan has a friend coming over to play after lunch. Hopefully the weather will hold so we can go for a bike ride. Meatballs going in the crock pot for dinner.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good Morning!

Today:
Buillitens- done
chruch set-up - done
church (I am going late and leaving early since I am in a bad mood and don't want to talk to anyone- I am afraid I will say what I think and make things worse)
lunch- something here- I am not going out with church folks today
dinner- ????
no youth tonight!!!!

Rebecca

Holly - what about hot chocolate mix? I've used that in a pinch before. It is just enough to take the bite out the bitter.

Need to go get my tush in gear if I want to walk before the rain hits.

Not sure what the day will bring.

Hope you all enjoy it no matter what you are doing.

Drive-by post! So much on today's list it isn't funny!

Been up for awhile, did the dog walk, etc. Trying to make sure the house is organized for me to start back out to work tomorrow! (After 12 years!) Even though it is only part-time, it will make a difference in the amount of time I'm around to do stuff.

Have to finish cleaning up outside - it is lovely out, so gotta finish this up. Everyone is being pressed into service, including the Dynamic Duo - hey, if Lou's eating dinner over here tonight, he can help rake (again!) first. They did a great job the other day, so I'm sure we'll get it done.

NYC was terrific yesterday - we ate and shopped at our favorite places and even got some luscious paper from Kate's Paperie that we can't wait to use in our layouts. We even saw Elvis (the 70's white jumpsuit one) walking down the street , and a life-sized male blow up doll hanging out of the window of a huge white limo. Interesting day!

Rebecca - hope your mood improves - good girl for taking care of yourself (and putting yourself first!) and not doing more than you have to at church today.

Good Sunday everyone! Another gorgeous spring day. DD is still feeling under the weather, most of the day will be doing sinus rinse and keeping her comfortable. She went outside for a little walk, good that she enjoyed the fresh air. Right now she is playing in her room, I am watching part of the UConn womens basketball game, first roun of the NCAA championship.

The cats are getting settled. Wilson has taken over the bay window. He is snoozing and occassionally opens an eye to watch DH work on the lawn

Pam you're right on with how much a part time job cuts in, but the scrapping envelope will fill up faster right?

Lisa Sorry DD's still not feeling better. Glad the cats are settling in have they run into each other yet?

I've decided I need a magic wand to get this place clean. I'll never catch up. at least everyone including the dogs are outside for a while. I have to redo the ever present list and see what I can actually get done but all I want is a NAP or at least sit in my chair and watch the race.

Well I just sat down for the first time today. I left my nieces house and went to walmart and got some "bunny " stuff and home to pick up mr Crockett and go to the grocery store. Keep inind I only go every 12-14 weeks. We of course do milk& bread stuff in between. But the grocery store and I don't get along so I do it and do it up big. So it takes forever. I have to have a huge menu planned out so I know how many of these and how many of those I'll need. Then we got home with a ton of stuff and we decided to clean
out the cabinets. Like throwing out expired stuff and clean out the fridge and get rid of the almost done mustard and ketchup and that sort of stuff. Holy cow am I wiped out. All my cabinets are organized! Done. What a job. I really think I need someone to stay on me. Sometimes life just goes by and you don't even realize it because I'm too busy living my life. And things get overlooked. I am sooooo in the mood to throw everything out. I need a clean sweep.

Off to veg for a bit.

Holly you deserve to veg. I hate the grocery store and try to go only every 8 weeks bout the boys are in a deli mode and I've been twice in the last month YUCKY. Wish someone would do my cabinets. I got the fronts washed a few weeks ago and that's it. 1 more thing added to that list.

I've putted on stuff and accomplished nothing (finished anyway) all afternoon, now it's time to run kiddos though showers dinner and bed (early hopefully) so that I can clean the scrap/sewing area again. picked up a small 3 drawer sterilite for all the fabric pieces that are floating (more like exploding) out of their storage.

I've done 3 sets of circle journal pages, gone out to lunch with my fam, went for a bike ride, and now am waiting my dinner to get finished. Morgan has a friend over and we played a game and just have had fun. She wasn't going to stay for dinner, but just changed her mind about 30 minutes ago. I think it's the smell of the meatballs ;)

Holly, I would have met you in Bellingham to give you your paper! Shoulda told me you were coming this way.

I need to do "bunny" stuff too. All I have right now is a movie...

bunny stuff has commenced in this house. It's a close second to xmas as tom's mom was from the south and it was a big deal to her so the boys make a nest outside and leave carrots and celery for the bunny he in turn always leaves presents out there for them as well as their baskets.

Oh the bunny is a huge deal in this house. MA always made it special for us so...... You know that I have kept that going. I bought him all kinds of stuff. Dh just shakes his head. He knows not to dare to say anything! :)
he gets way more than just a basket of candy!

Lisa - how's your dd feeling? Better tonight I hope! :)

yep that's our house. bunny leaves presents in the nest that have to be shared and then they get their baskets which are the size of a small tote:rotfl: think 10 gallon.
One year the bunny left turkey hunting stuff decoys blinds videos  another year he filled the nest with pool and beach toys.

The Dynamic Duo did well today! We snipped rose bushes and tied them back onto an arbor, raked, got stuck by pricker bushes, and decided to quit. We then walked to Whole Foods to go food shopping - after our last grocery shopping trip together (disaster, I thought we would never be able to buy food together again), this was amazing!

We walked in, and everything smelled good - they have free samples everywhere, so we sampled away, and picked out a nice set of goodies that we basketed up for our teacher who invited us to all the things last week. I even used one of the cards I had made last CKC! Although I did unplug the phone and lose all of our messages in the basketing process.... :headache:

Anddddd - we're going on a cruise! We booked it for May, 2011 - a 4-nighter. After watching the Travel Channel special, Lou was like "huh - I wonder how much those are?" And after we watched the little video online about the Dream, we looked up how much a maiden voyage was ($$$$$), and then one for later in the year - 800$ for 3 nights! We were shocked, and Lou was like "You want to go?" Uhhmmm, yeah! So we're booked for May 22nd, and I can't wait.

Now I just have to finish my homework, because I have to be up tomorrow since it's my mom's first day of work!!!! Crazy. I'll have to take photos... haha.
