It's the weekend...Day 2!

Happy Pi Day everyone!! My math geek DS18 is so upset that Pi day is a Sunday his senior year!! Poor Baby...but I do see a pumpkin pie in his future, so that will make him happier...

Today I have to meet DH at the resale shop. I sent him some pics of things from the website, and he bought those and more! So much stuff I have to meet him at the store with the van, he is driving the suburban! And he talks about me shopping!

My list for today:

Caffeinate- this repeats everyday!!

Order DS18's Senior Pics... YIKES! These packages are EXPENSIVE!!!

I've been working on some swaps this morning. I can get alot done when everyone else is still sleeping!!

I've got to work for a few hours today. I don't normally work on Sundays, but the manager called me yesterday and asked if I'd come in because a couple booked a last minute birthday party and instead of doing it like a party, they want help getting them started on a scrapbook they want to make. Sounded fun to me so I agreed to go in.

try to clean house a bit but the mud is back in full force with the rain so I may wait till boys are in for the pm
monthly class @ 12 for a few hours
need to tackle last pile still hanging out in scrap room
test pack for ckc went okay. using the double Art bin will work and give us plenty of space when we leave it at the rolling tote check in for our purchases.
children are wound up and I'm thinking of sending them out in the rain does that make me a bad mom?

But then I actually woke up, and it was okay.

Wow! What a good day! I have that song in my mind and ready to dance the day away!!!

1. We our on our way to SEMI-STATE!! 1 game next weekend decides the final 2 teams!!
However, I'm in a pickle because DS13 has a choir concert! ERK! Hopefully its close and we get an evening game.. He'll sing, DH will be outside the school w/ the van running and pointed in the right direction and it's all engines GO! If not everyone else will go and give us updates!
** WE play @ 1pm on Saturday so DS and I will miss it... **

2. Woke up to an email... our free GAD/GAD vouchers!!!!

3. The musical Friday night was great!!! It was a lot of singing of 50's songs! Really cute!!!

Today:
I despise the time change...but I'm up and happy!!

It's time to build an ark! It's been pouring off and on all day. Went to breakfast with Holly, did some shopping, and then went to the Cinema-Pub to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. DH and I were good and ordered salads and I only snitched two fries from Morgan's plate. Went and did a little shopping after that...Mike's, Jo's, Borders.

After dinner I am going back to ACM for their 20% off sale...That American Crafts paper will finally be mine!

We bought kitty supplies today!!!

Never thought a litter box could make a person so happy. We are looking to add two fur babies to our family. Our first ones as adults, although we both had cats growing up. Never wanted to pay the pet rent, and without being "settled" we didn't want to move them around, didn't have reliable neighbors, etc. Yesterday, we went to a cat rescue place to check things out. There is another one we want to visit next weekend. It's still in the slow season for kittens, which is what we are thinking about...although, there were two very cute juveniles that we saw yesterday, so it still may be a couple weeks before we have our new family members.

In other news...yesterday 50+ degrees, today white stuff, Wed 60 degrees. Will the weather just make up its mind!

Hope our weather has been messed up too. today the clouds are going west I honestly can't remember seeing that before. Wind is still whiooing around here but at least the rain has cut the fire danger. there was a fire started by a muzzleloader yesterday in the next village. so we needed the rain as nasty as it may be. have fun looking for the furbabies.

I'm thinking a nap should be in order instead I'm slogging through my laundry that has been ignored for a VERY long time. I should be cleaning the last pile in the scrap room............... instead i'm here.

Well, the couple that wanted to learn how to scrapbook were no shows. I had the room all set up and was really excited about helping them. So, I spent a few hours at Michaels working on their Cricut making up some displays for the mananger and also helping with the make-it/take-it craft since we got bombarded with kids wanting to make the flowerpot lady bugs. They really are cute pots!

We watched UP this afternoon. It was really good. Then I rN and printed some photos at cvs. And the laundry. You know how that goes.

Yes, it's hard to be every where.. but their childhood goes by so fast and you want to be at as much as you can... PJ is taking her friend w/ her and DH will have DS9... DS13 is excited about a mommy and me day even though he'd rather be at the game (me too)...but it'll be fine!!

I didn't get much while out with the fam. Some girl scout stuff at Jo's, the Hitting the Books stack at M's. Went back to ACM for their 20% off sale. Did quite a bit of damage there. That flocking set was mis-marked. It rang up $19.99, but was marked $8.99, they wouldn't go for it.

Nan, that's a great system, we only have the one, so don't have to worry about it, but my sister does something similar with her 2 boys.

Oh Hope, how fun! Youngsters or kittens, I'm sure you'll give them a loving home. We had 3 for the longest time, one passed away in August of 2007, and we got the Siamese. Then my old calico died in December of 2008. We thought about getting a kitten last spring, but decided to let my old girl (she'll be 13 this year), live the rest of her days in (relative) peace - since Meezer is such a pip to her. When she's gone, we'll get two kittens (not that we're rushing it or anything, she's still healthy!).
