morning

It's still nice and quiet in my house since they are all asleep and I'm enjoying the peace.

Deb good for you packing a healthly lunch and snacks

today other than cleaning and laundry I have no idea and of of course checking on my momma cow sounds dumb but if you believe in animal prayers could you say one for her she might loose her eye and we are helpless for the next 2 weeks more hurry up and wait. the vet has done what he can and it was horrible according to my dad and tom. Having my animals sick is almost as bad as my boys.

On a happier note I'm hoping to finish the last pile in the scrap room I've been negleting that and now that the puzzle is out of the way I have no excuse.

Hope you all have a great day.

Good luck on the points, Deb. Packing a baggie of snacks always helped me.

Christy, I'll keep your momma cow in my thoughts.

Well, we got hit with the tummy bug overnight. Princess woke us up a 4:04 am saying that her belly hurt. She seems a bit better already, but we're taking it easy today. She'll miss her last basketball game and dance, but that's okay.

We took things out of her room last night to get started on the re-decorating. Oy, we've got a ton and a half of crap to go through. We've already got one huge bag of books to give to Sophie. I know there will be more. I found a bedside table and CD rack for her room last night at Christmas Tree Shop.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Holly, how's Bubbalicious today? Going forward with the party?

Good WORK on the lunch, Deb! Doncha LOVE beer can chicken? But seriously, did you grill out??

OF course I'll send a bag of pixie dust to your momma cow! Good luck finishing your room :)

May be ok with you, but i'll bet it's not ok with the PRINCESS! Hope she feels better soon and none of the rest of you get it!!!!

Let's see . . . plans for today.
gym and pool.
Roast chicken and parts for dinner. Pick chicken and boil the bones for broth.
Scrap.
Read.
Surf.

Happy Day, all!

thank you ladies this is my good mamma cow the other one has never gotten friendly.

Jennifer Hope it isn't the bug that went round and round here It never wanted to leave. :wizard: prayers it's not. Hope she not too upset about missing the game and dance.

Holly Hope bubba's feeling better this am and ready to go for the party.

Linda I like your day.

Deb - Have a good day! I can't believe men hint this late in the game! Hopefully you're able to find a little iPod - get it in pink. ;)

Christy - That's really sad.... I hope she's okay. Cows are cute, even though up close they're kind of like giant dogs, with the wet noses.

Jennifer - Are you doing before and after pictures?

My day was supposed to be lazy, but I switched with someone at work, so now it's:

-Up
-Breakfast
-Get ready (but I don't have to look good, I just can't be in pajamas)
-Work 9-5 with a good crew, not the surly ones. :thumbsup2
-Home
-Lou over, get my gift.
-Give him his card and pins, or wait until tomorrow (?)
-Dinner
-Movie
-Sleep

As to why I'm getting my gift today, and not tomorrow - he calls me yesterday, and goes "I'm going to get money to get you a card and a present... if there's anything you'd want, tell me now, so you don't get disappointed. Otherwise I have an idea of what I'm getting you." So I told him that I'd only been telling him what I've wanted for the past three years, and he's never gotten it for me - flowers. And he was like "Really? Oh. Okay. I can do that. But do they have to come from a fancy place? Or can it be like, Stop n' Shop?" I told him to do one better, and get them from BJs... hahaha. He asked if they came in manageable amounts, or if he would have to get a 100-pack.... oh man. So this way I get my flowers today.

He told me otherwise he was going to put 40$ in a card and give it to me for scrapbooking stuff... :lovestruc although that would have been useful, I don't really need anything right now (I'm still on the lookout for that My Guy stack though!!!!)

Guys just don't give flowers anymore... in the four years I have dated my boyfriend, I have received flowers once! :rotfl: The same goes for my sister, four years, only twice. Boys! ;)

And happy thoughts for momma cow! :goodvibes

Good WORK on the lunch, Deb! Doncha LOVE beer can chicken? But seriously, did you grill out??

Nope... I've always done it in a roaster pan in the oven. But it is yummy ans so moist done that way.

Even if I wanted to grill...mine is still burried in 3ft of s*ow!! :rotfl:

Morning all.
Jennifer hugs for princess M! Hope she feels better real soon.

Christy - good positive thoughts for mamma cow. M double O!

Deb I love the iPod idea. I Love mine.

Danica- Enjoy your flowers !

Ok so we are doing the party. His belly ache is over and now it's his asthma that is acting up. He has had a neb and his puffer. We will bring his puffer with us. Let's hope we have no issues.

Have a great day everyone!!

Christy- Hope all goes well for mama cow! :wizard:

Holly- Glad the tummy is better, but so sorry about the asthma!

Jennifer- Hope Princess feels better and it's just a quick bug!

LOL, Princess is just fine with missing her last basketball game and dance. Just last night, she wanted to ditch both, so she got her wish. She's not a "team" sport player, other than softball, which she's great at. We're going to stick to dance and swimming, so this really will probably be her last game. Believe me, she's fine with it.

She's not doing great. Can't keep anything down, but is hungry. I need to run out and get DH his GC to the comic book store so I'll pick up some ginger ale and bread for toast.

Holly - Hope the Little Man has a good day today.
Jennifer - Hope the Princess feels better.
Christy - Pixie Dust for the cow mama.

Lazy day today.

Go eat
Exercise
Shower
Fill up MiniVan with more Goodwill stuff [thanks to the declutter thread]
Take to Goodwill
Not sure after that, I have lots of clean clothes in baskets :sad2: I know I can't believe I let that start happening again. I need to get those hung up and put away.
Cut more fringe. Have 6 days to finish this project.

How's princess M?

The party was great and now it's over for another year. So glad! He did fine. We did a neb before we left and by the time we got home it was time fir another one. All is good!!
Everyone had a good time and that makes me happy!!
I still can't believe he is 8!

So glad to hear it all went well and he had a good time. I'm always glad to get teh parties out of the way. L is pretty much done with them as he's going on 12 just a few buddies to hang out.

Jennifer hows M fairing?

Guys just don't give flowers anymore... in the four years I have dated my boyfriend, I have received flowers once! :rotfl: The same goes for my sister, four years, only twice. Boys! ;)

And happy thoughts for momma cow! :goodvibes

My dh has gotten me flowers the last few years whether I want 'em or not :rotfl: Last year, I got a bouquet the day before leaving for Massachusetts for the weekend crop, and had to lug it to the CAPE in order to enjoy it:rolleyes1 I woulda rather had money for scrap stuff, honestly:laughing:

I have to say, my DH is good about giving me flowers, and he is mindful about not spending a fortune. And yes, flowers can be from Stop and Shope. Wednesday for our 20th anniversary he got me two dozen roses. Those he got from Whole Foods Market. One day he picked wild flowers from the yard where his work truck is parked.:lmao: I thought it was romantic.

I hope Morgan and Bubba are both feeling better. And how is Momma cow doing? What happened to her eye? Did she get a virus or hurt it?

I had a great day. It was my monthly crop, though only one DIS'er was there. I'll see some of them in a few weeks though. :):)

Lisa we really don't know the vet thinks it's pink eye gone bad. so he gave her shots around it and they had to sew the lid closed. in 2 weeks he'll be back open it and determine if it can be saved or not. she was in pain from it and they don't normally tranc them if they are pregnant which she is. If not well that will be surgery to remove it and she'll just be with out on that side. It's going to require a couple of friends. My father (he had to be here and of course has to help even with his wound open) is sick over it as we are, she my sweet one who always moo's to me when I get home every day. Her calves are sweet and loving just like her. She's also the one that will sneak up behind you and head butt you just cause.......

So that's the sad story so for the next 2 weeks I'm just saying prayers.

Course the other momma is not impressed cause we penned up her baby so he'd quit nursing. The other 2 that had theirs penned up could care less. It will be a noisy couple of days.

glad you had fun at your crop.

She seems better. Slept off and on all day while DH and I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned her room. One benefit of that was that she wasn't distracted by everything we took out and stopped to play. We got rid of bags and bags and bags of stuff! It's looking better, but will take a few more weeks to finish up, DH wants to do the painting in parts. I'm hoping he'll get motivated to just get it all done.

Oh, got distracted...she spiked a fever around 6:00 and we tossed her in the shower and I went out to get some meds. Of course, I had nothing in the house. :confused3 It brought it right down and she was able to eat a bit of soup. I'm trying to push fluids without pushing too hard. She's very tired, but she looked better when going to bed.

I have to take some pictures before DH starts the painting tomorrow. Everything is moved around, but I want to show you the painting she's covering up. :sad1: My baby's growing up. :sad2:
