We are off next Sunday for a 3 night/4 day trip staying at the Sequoia Lodge.
The Cast:
My dad who will be 59+1 in September (he doesn't want to be 60) loves Its a Small World
My mum 58, never wanted to got to Disney until I convinced her after 4 years of trying.
Sister 33 she will be my wingman on the rides as no one else likes roller coasters
BIL 33, not a theme park fan but loves Star Wars
Niece 6, has been brainwashed to like Disney, likes anything that is pink (not sure where she gets that from as her mum & me are nothing like that!)
Nephew 3, went for the 1st time last year & loves Its a Small World & Slinky Dog ride
Me 30, has always loved Disney & has been fortunate to have taken my niece & nephew to Disney as promised when their mum was expecting them. Love rollercoasters, hate the teacups.
When my sister & I were growing up we have good memories of going on holiday with my parents & grandparents. My dad has been wanting to do the same for a while but it has been a while in the making, mainly due to my sister. This year my dad turns 60 & wants to do a one off holiday as a whole family, he did make me laugh in saying that its his birthday treat but he is treating us all to the holiday.
Not got too many plans except the Monday will be VIP fastpass day for us so will make the most of that. Hope to Eat in Annette's, Plaza Gardens & Restaurant Des Stars (which is a favourite of my dad & me). Also planning to do a high tea at the DLH one afternoon for my dad's birthday
As its half term we know its going to be busy but with the long park opening times, we should be able to cope & have some swims in the pool.
Want to watch Dreams at least once & I plan to do lots of shopping.
We are also planning to go to Val D'Europe one of the days as my mum has never been here.
