The countdown to POP Century - September 2011!!!!

ok so Monday I make my ADR's , I am so excited!!!!! So this will be our first time staying at POP...for u veterans what are some must do's???

we made our ADRs this morning 26th - Tusker @ 10:10am, 30th - Akershus @ 8:20am (& BBB 11:20/40 on 25th) - sooo exciting

Mon-26th-Waterpark--1900 Park Fare 7:10pm
Tues-27th-MK--Crystal Palace 12:30pm lunch--MNSSHP
Weds-28th-waterpark--Cape May 6:50pm
Thurs-29th-Tusker 8am(YES!!!) AK
Friday-30th-Akershus 9:30am--Epcot
Sat-Oct 1st--Ohana's 9:30am--swim,relax and then 6pm fly home

Question for you previous POPers! Do the beds move?

I have read SOOO many conflicting things on this. I'm worried about our DD, she WILL NOT sleep in a pack n play, so when we travel we let her sleep with us, I plan on requesting a KING room, but I understand we may not get this, so I am trying to figure out what to do? She will only be 18months for our trip and rolls around A LOT and I don't think a bed rail will keep her in bed.

We booked prefered and by the looks for it there are only a few king prefered rooms

Hi, just to let you know our dates have changed - we are now going from 13-27 September! We will still be at Pop but start our trip three days earlier!!

JewelG....We may pass at Akershus...we have a 9:20am.(I wrote 9:30am on accident)....so you should still be there when we come. Well we can ride the bus together to POP and then when we leave We will have to PM each other info when it's closer so maybe we can meet at the bus!

Totally up for that can't imagine it is still 6 months away - want it to be now... lol... oh well - just means I get to keep planning and buying stuff for the trip - found a site called vistaprint and have been making cute keepsakes like keychains, pens, shirts, sticky notes, hats... can even do charicatures of each of the kids... its super cute... lol... our new slogan is "5 Kids * 4 Parks * 8 Crazy Days"

Tonight we had dinner & a movie. TANGLED!! I think someone on here said Disney Movie night every wk till vacation. So we are doing the same. The girls have no idea that I am doing it as a countdown to our vacation though. I told them we are gonna do a Disney movie nt every wk, and rewatch or watch for the first time some wonderful Disney movies. I feel like I need to rewatch some I haven't in yrs!!

Today I went shopping and bought bathing suits for the trip, some bath & body hand santizer and carrying cases for the girls for the parks, Mickey Pj bottoms for me and my friend Norma. Have you ever ordered groceries from Garden Grocer? We wanted to get a few things in - water, cereal, bread - just some basics - are they worth it or should we just bite the bullet and take a cab to Walmart for a few things when we get there - just don't want to waste too much time...

I was told wegoshop.com was nice and that they don't up charge the product just charge a service fee. I was thinking of doing them and having them delivery some bottled water to us, as well as maybe a few things. We don't have time to go either.

We used gardengrocer last March and we had no problems receiving our order or anything. I don't remember the deliver fee or anything but we spent about $70 or so on drinks, breakfast items, lunch items meat cheese peanut butter, yogurt, fruit, plates, etc.

I called Amy at wegoshop.com today and I am gonna go with them. They don't up-charge the items like Gardengrocer, instead just charges a delivery fee. She said each different store u ask her to go to is $5 xtra. I am thinking Sam's club. I think I can have her get everything there I need. She will meet us after we check in to go over recpts & get pd. She said Sept is a busy month and orders have to be in by 6 weeks before and are also excepted rt now. She said she is getting orders for Dec already. Orders can be motified up to 2 days before arrival. I will place my order in the next few weeks just to get my name in her files for the month of Sept!
