Well, 24 hours from now, the little guy should be here! My C-section is scheduled for 8:30. I've been busy trying to finish up all of the last minute errands and details because I know it will be a long time before I'm able to get around again. Thanks to all of you for all of your well wishes and good thoughts through this pregnancy. I'll be sure to have someone keep you updated on his arrival!

Good luck Michelle!!!! Enjoy that new little bundle of joy!!! And give him a hug from his Auntie Nan!!!!

Wow! Seems like that pregnancy went quick..but I'm on the outside looking in! :) Although I was told yesterday I need another child.. I thought DH was gonna fall off the porch! Nope, I'm happy w/ 5...

:yay:

Good luck!! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts! I need it - I'm a little nervous about the whole surgery and recovery aspect of the C-section. I've never had surgery before. I won't be home from the hospital until Saturday, so pictures will probably have to wait until then.

:goodvibes

It'll be okay.. I never had surgery before my c-section either.. when you can get up and about even a bit do so.. I didn't and I felt like I was walking in a humped over position... I did express concern that if I stood up too quickly, that everything would pop out of the stitches...but it didn't...so know that you can stand up but NOT too quickly... oh, and take the pain meds..they do help.. I didn't take much...I think DH said I took 3 vicodin total...but I have a high pain tolerance... You'll do great!! Stay positive!
