I was reading a couple of blogs, and some suggested that Biden is just blowing smoke and sucking up to try and get the HS votes.

As anyone heard BHO's lastest version of "IF I MEANT IT"? He was on Letterman trying to explain....technically, if he had meant it this way....Palin would be the lipstick and McCain's failed policies would be the pig. How many more chances does he get to explain it?

I saw that clip from Cohen - funny, he's Jewish...and comparing Obama to Jesus. That comment seemed rather random - maybe he had been promised a tidy little sump'n-sump'n [ie job?] if he kept holding out the torch for the Obama/Biden camp. ?????

Memphis has the best BBQ in the World!!! The ribs are especially good at "Blues City Cafe".

Memphis also has wack, corrupt city officials. The city may be blue but, the county isn't.....and helps to paint the whole state red.

This morning I clicked on an article about SP being interviewed by Charles Gibson - old news....what was funny is that the article kept mentioning SP's handlers - like, her handlers were very protective of her at first but now her handlers see that she can hold her own in what could be a combative situation....I know that's standard language to describe campaign staff but don't you think our Sarracuda needs handlers? I mean, to make sure the other guys will be safe?

You got it. Add in the astronomical crime rate and that's Memphis. It's sad, isn't it. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many McCain bumber stickers in Memphis on my last trip in to the city. (I'll bash my own county too -- we are known as a Lil' Memphis -- number 13 most violent place to live on FBI list. ).

Plus, with my job - I see the worst of the worst out of Shelby. Actually, without Shelby, I may not have a job.

I'm surprised about the Cohen comment especially since the attacks made against him during the primary. Makes you wonder though.

It was a poster whose name I didn't recognize but joined in 06 with a few hundred posts. The first comment was that SP must've passed the "short bus" so she could beat it home where it was dropping off her kids. The second post was a pic of a Down's child running a race and the caption was something to the effect of being a winner but still being the "r" word. I don't even want to repeat it. Some people have no class at all.

Mornin' - I just logged on to see if there are any Memorials for 9/11, and there are many.

Guys - Zips thread I guess was shut down . One poster had the stugats to make fun of the special needs in regards to all of Sarah's children. (I don't know how much I can tell you myself without getting in trouble.)
And some posters don't like our poking fun at Sarah threads- they said it's getting old. Whatever. I told them at least we are secure enough to do that.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm not usually much for political discussion because I'm always afraid I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about. But I do like to read a lot.
