Well, trying to look on the bright side here. One good thing from an Obama presidency: A national Obama holiday. Hopefully there will be a government mandate for the day off.

I just wanted to come out of the lurking closet to say that I have really enjoyed reading this thread and your opinions and optimism have helped me see that there is "hope and change" ahead for the conservative community. I really thought that enough people in this country would see through Obama and his empty campaign, but was disappointed in the gullibility of the American electorate. The adulation of Obama by soooo many people is mind boggling. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that there are actually those who think his "coronation' should be a national holiday. Why don't we just call the pope and have him cannonized so we can have the feast of ST. Barack. I have three conservative sons who laugh all the time that Star Wars contains the answer to most of lifes problems. Last night my middle son said that this whole situation reminds him of the quote from Queen Amadala "So this is how liberty dies,with thunderous applause."They all promptly put it up on their AIM accounts as their message. My husband and I are so proud.

You know, I never realized this until now, but you're so right about Star Wars.

I've only gone to their thread 1x or 2x.
