Toby: Toby smiled back "I don't think being weird is a bad thing, I'm weird too, it's what I love about you" he said still sitting straight in the water as to not get his head wet.

OOC: that's okay, I just got home from work anyhow.

OOC: Hey, guys! I know I haven't been on in a really long time. Sorry! Life is pretty busy with end-of-school-year stuff and what not. But I'm back! I'm pretty sure it would take a long time to go back and read everything I've missed, so could someone maybe catch me up?

(OOC: Same here, I have a new student and am just trying to catch up... and failing -.-)

Ooc: Hello guys! I'm probably not the best to help catch you guys up since I was M.I.A. but I will try! Basically, we skipped two weeks into the school year and tonight is Parent's Night where the student's parents will come to meet the professor, students and see their children. Right now, everyone is at the beach at the school. We didn't have classes or anything either. I'm not sure this helped but that's all I got because that's what we've done recently.

Alex: Alex grinned,"Aw thanks bro." She leaned back up and smiled teasingly,"I suppose your weirdness is something I love about you too."

OOC: I'll also add that Toby and Alex are best friends, and Alex and Jack have crushes on each other. But Toby doesn't like Jack. Also for our new player River and Daniel are a couple.

Toby: Toby looked at Alex with a questioning look, "thanks" he said wondering how weird he really was.

Alex: Alex laughed and shook her head at Toby's expression,"Don't worry Toby you're not that weird really, just a bit, but I will definitely get you to act crazy." She smiled happily before looking down in the water with an amused look.

Jack: Jack swam up from the water and wiped the water from his eyes before noticing Alex. He raised a questionable eyebrow at her even though she couldn't see and shook his head at her expression.

Alex: Alex abruptly dived down to the sand before coming back up with one of her hands clamped closed. She grinned triumphantly, moving her bangs out of her eyes, and opened her hand to show a large rigged shell. Alex looked up at Toby with a childlike grin,"Look what I found!" Hearing a chuckle, she turned to see Jack smiling at her and she grinned herself,"I like this shell. I could make it into a souvenir! Like my shirt I bought when we went to the mainland."

He watched her as she dove under the water and smiled as she came back up with the shell. "that's really pretty" he said sincerely.

Alex: Alex looked up at Toby with a proud smile before she looked back at the shell in her hands,"Thank-you. I can't wait to turn this into something cool, I learned a couple ways to do creative things with objects like shells in....my different camps. I visited one every year and learned all kinds of cool tricks." She looked up at Toby once again before saying happily,"And don't worry, I will keep trying. Soon you'll be a complete weirdo like me and not care what people think." She laughed to herself lightly before inspecting the shell closer as if it were the biggest treasure she could ever find.

He looked down into the sand under the water while he thought about it, sometimes he felt trapped. He wished more than anything that he wouldn't care how people saw him or what they thought about him, but the truth of the matter was that he did.

River: River watched as Jack sat down on the sand, she had now moved closer to the water with her feet straight out in front of her letting the waves hit them.

Toby: Toby looked up "yeah, I'm fine" he said shaking his head and shrugging. "you didn't say anything wrong" he said with a small smile.

River: River watched Jack, he seemed unaware of anything around him. He seemed completely focused on Alex and Toby. But especially Alex, 'did he like her?' she wondered. She smiled at the thought.

Serefima Kasai: Serefima hated water. So, naturally, she avoided the water at the beach. Instead, she sat cross-legged in the sand a few yards from the water, blending in, she hoped. Bored, she began tossing a ball of fire in the air and praying she could catch it. But when the ball was in the air, she heard a splash, and turned to see what it was. As the ball fell to Earth, she saw that it was just the water on the sand. And missed the ball. It landed in the sand next to her, which practically exploded. Sand flew up five feet in the air then flew back down again. She whipped around, wondering if anybody had noticed her mistake.

OOC: Thanks, guys. I'll just jump right back in. I think I'll probably have Amelia crushing on Jack, maybe not right now, but a little later on. If that's okay?

Amelia: Amelia sat on the beach with the others. She watched as everyone talked to each other and had fun. Amelia still hadn't really made friends. She had taled to Jack that one time, but hadn't really talked to anyone very much since. She didn't realize how... upset being alone here would make her. She was used to being alone, but seeing all the other students being friends bothered her. She sighed and slouched her shoulders. She had to find some way to quit being so shy.

Alex continued to look around for a moment and noticed Amelia sitting alone, Jack sitting, as well as River and Serefima. "Let's go back to shore and talk to people!" She said happily already taking a few steps towards everyone.

Jack: Jack bit his lip while thinking for a moment, River is Alex's friend. Toby and he don't get along so maybe if he can be civil to another of Alex's friends that will show he isn't that bad. Jack pursed his lips before standing, walking over to River, and sat down beside her. "Hey," He said simply hoping he didn't sound as clueless as he really was.

Alex: Alex gasped as the water splashed her and glared playfully at Toby before splashing water back at him. She stuck out her tongue at him before laughing and running onto shore and sticking her feet under the warm sand. Smiling at the warmth of the sand, Alex looked around for someone and as she saw Jack and River talking she smiled since neither of them looked angry. 'Finally, Jack is actually trying to be kind!' She thought happily before waiting for Toby and looking at her shell.

She started walking to River and Jack slowly hoping to see if they got along, but also if River would need her help. 'Jack isn't exactly the most easy going person to talk to,' she thought to herself watching him intently.

Jack: Jack gave a small smile and nodded his head," I do. I've never really been to a beach before and it's pretty cool. Especially the fun you can have in the water." His smile grew a bit thinking of how he brought Alex under water and looked up to see her not so secretly watching him speak with River. He sent her a grin, knowing his cursed dimples were showing, and chuckled as a warm feeling spread through him seeing her smile back. "Yeah, it's pretty cool here," He said again turning back from Alex.

River: River smiled at Jack's answer seeing that he was watching Alex. She wondered if his answer was actually about the beach. But she decided to make an attempt to continue the conversation "yeah it's fun, I've always lived near a beach. But I didn't spend very much time there."

River: River smiled at Jack's answer seeing that he was watching Alex. She wondered if his answer was actually about the beach. But she decided to make an attempt to continue the conversation "yeah it's fun, I've always lived near a beach. But I didn't spend very much time there."

Alex: Alex grinned as she saw the two talking and looked up at Toby sheepishly. "You know, I really like the beach. I could find all kinds of shells, make things from them, and even practice my powers."

Jack: Jack nodded his head," That's cool you lived near a beach, if I did I would have tried to go everyday. I lived in New York deep in the city so I was lucky to see a tree every once in awhile since I didn't really go to any arks or anything."

Toby: Toby smiled "yeah, it's pretty perfect here, I could spend all day at the beach." then he paused "actually I have done that before" he said with a small laugh.

River: River smiled "If I had time or friends I probably would have" she said but immediately regretted it. "I've always wanted to see New York" she said smiling and looking down.
