2 is a fun age, for next year, Sam's had one of those moon walk type play gyms for like $300. I have a friend who bought one for her 3yo, and he loves it!!!!! it inflates in a few minutes.....

Since my husband is still off of work, we are not sure how things will be with his schedule and if he will be able to get off on a weekend, so we are thinking of holding it on a weekday late afternoon. The kids are mostly younger like my daughter with my cousin's daughter who is 6 being the eldest.
I am thinking of doing a star catch. Where I have different colors of stars that is going to have Dora the Explorer written on the front, and on the back some of them will have prizes. Each child will look at their star and see if they had gotten a prize.
We will be decorating star cookies, we have a Dora pinata, and I will be showing a Dora video. That's probably all most of the kids will be able to handle. We will have dinner and cake along with other desserts. There will be more adults then kids.

My parents and I were thinking of getting my daughter a swing set, but my husband said that it is a waste cause she has a lot of toys. My daughter likes swinging now and going to the park. Growing up my sister and I had a set, and I think that's what she will recieve for her birthday, if not Christmas.
