I have not been yet. My parents visited Maui and Molokai. Beautiful.

I've been to Maui before, but never to Molokai. My aunty and her family lived there once, and she told me to go there when I started to learn how to drive. At that time, there was only one traffic light, and the stores/restaurants closed by seven or eight in the evening. What did your parents do there?

Wow the coffee house was open early this am, I am dying for some Kona coffee, I loved the Big Island when I was on my honeymoon (10 yrs ago) We even walked out onto the lava fields very nice. Aloha.

Black lava rocks-I see so much of that all over the island, but it is a nice change from what we see here where I live.

I'll have some tea this afternoon. Already had my two cups of coffee this am.

I had a sorority sister from Honolulu. Funny though, she transferred to Univ of Hawaii from our small college in Flint, MI (not a very pretty place) because she hated working in Los Angelos for 6 months of the year. I still get Christmas cards from her. One of these days, I'm going to visit!

Per NC Belle's request, I am serving up grilled and hicory smoked steaks. My Birthday is tomorrow. Starting to celebrate a little early.

Iced coffee and tea are on the menu.

What part of Southern Maryland are you from?

NC Belle (my wife) grew up in Shady Side MD, just south of Annapolis. I grew up and Baltimore.

Happy B'day..Your dinner sounds better than ours... DS#1 is grilling burgers.. we have to eat and run to be at the Boy Scout Court of Honor by 6:30.. I don't get home from work until 6:15..

Hi!!

Just got back from running errands in Raleigh. Wonderful temperature.

We just got back from the Coronado Springs resort in WDW. Wonderful time, great service and a laid back resort. Well worth visiting.

After experiencing the Central Florida humidity, NC seems cool by comparison.

When you were at the Poly, did you go to Ohana's? We went there this time and the food was wonderful. We met some other DIS Boarders there (OHANAFAMILY, RRBB and CADBURYSMOM plus her son Jordan).

They are a lot of fun to hang out with. The memories are priceless.

I'm here after a long day of running around from appt. to appt. hubby's knee and leg hurts, so we had to go to get it massaged, went to the doctors, get it x-rayed, and we had to get him medicine.
