Tim??:confused3 Is that some reference from another one of those movies that I never get around to watching.:confused3 :confused3
What?! You didn't watch Home Improvement? Tim the Toolman? His sidekick, Al? Wife Jill? Boys Brad, Rand and Mark?

My friend in the neighborhood calls us to walk to a nearby McDonalds when the evenings are nice. We did that quite a bit over the summer, and then after the ice cream, the kids would run around in the playspace and we'd get a chance to chat.

Unfortunately the playspace has been removed (not sure if that is for good or not), so the last couple times we went DS4 was a little wild inside the restaurant; I spent the whole time chasing after him and trying to keep him out of the bathroom. :headache:

So... I guess I get a workout in after the ice cream. :rotfl:

If I had to walk to get an ice cream it would be about a 5 mile walk. Not so bad going downhill, but I can't imagine walking up our hill. It goes from sea level to about 900 feet at our house in 1.2 miles!:scared1: I guarantee you I would work off the ice cream, of course walking to McDonalds and back would probably take me 5 hours!

I've noticed that a lot of the fast food places have removed their play areas. I'm guessing it's a liability issue, either that or the kids are just too darned lazy to play outside anymore!:lmao:

And apparently I forgot that I posted and posted the same exact thing twice in a row.:rotfl2:

Oh yeah. I haven't watched that show in years though. Forgot all about it.
It was (still is) one of DH's favorite shows. And he used to behave like Tim all the time! :rotfl:

He's really good at that little grunting noise that Tim makes, and also the "hiss" like an angry cat. OMG, it's hilarious! :lmao:

Alex has started putting himself to bed. It is MUCHO BIZARRO. Last night he went to bed around 8:30 or 9.... Just got up and said he was tired and going to bed. Then tonight about 7:30 he did the same thing... Got up, washed, brushed, pottied, and said he was tired, and going to bed. OKAY. Whatever dude! Mikalah is sleeping on the living room floor.

You really need to take those 3-D glasses off Staley. When those babies are born it's going to look like you have 8 kids instead of just 4.:scared1:

I always noticed that my kids did that a couple of weeks after school started. I think the early mornings, long school days and darker evenings did it. Enjoy it!

Of course, it will disappear when he becomes a teenager and you get up at 2 in the morning and discover he's still watching tv.

My new car has only 4 cupholders. My SUV has 8 and I swear they end up filled up, I would love to have 14!

I think each of vehicles has only 4 cupholders. And the Accord had only two... It was soooo sad. :rotfl:

So how did we ever manage as children before cup holders in cars were invented?

Oh I know, we didn't have drive-thru's!:rotfl2:

Guys??? Did all those cupholders scare you off?

We went to starbucks this morning.... I had a pumpkin spice frap. it was okay... I am looking forward to having the peppermint one. :thumbsup2

OK, so the kids watched this Scooby Doo DVD this evening. It finally ended, and they disappeared upstairs. All this time I've been sitting in the room with the dorky music playing. I finally get up to search for the remote to stop the DVD and turn the player off, and turn the channel to something interesting.

COOL! Heroes is on, even though it's apparently an episode from last season and I didn't see very many episodes so I have no idea what's going on. I'm watching it for like a minute when DS8 appears and asks if I'm "watching that or are you on the computer?" He can see I'm on the laptop... :headache:

"Fine, what do you want to watch?"
"Extreme Sports!"

So then he crawls up into my chair and settles in next to me, half sitting on me, his body mashed against my side and one arm over mine. "Comfy?" I ask. He just grins at me.
