On Friday... It was no big deal, just a fender bender. they were just going to have me come in on my next appt. to be checked out, but seeing as how it is twins, and a little more high risk, they wanted to check me out. Make sure the placentas were okay and such. Which they were.
Babies were fine, One is a little smaller then the other, but both are growing well. So no need to worry about it yet. Not that I wont... Cause I am worrying about it. but they each have their own placenta, which means less of a chance of them sharing blood and nutrients and such... Which is awesome. The doctor said she would just ultrasound them at each appt, just to make sure we were all doing well.
She also said...
No exercise. AT ALL. Basic walking around the house and store, no more.
Eat ONLY healthy proteins and veggies and fruits.. almost NO CARBS.
NO SWEETS. AT ALL. I am a supremely high risk for GD. Being a big fat butt, and twins have a 50% higher chance of GD. So I will have to be really careful.
Monitor my blood pressure at home. Again... Twins have a MUCH higher chance of blood pressure problems.
Anyhow.. I was there for a quick check up and it turned into about 40 minutes. It was lovely... We also discussed delivery. I KNOW we are a long way off, but she was talking about pre term labor and such. Full term for twins is 36 weeks. I told her how much I want to try for a vag. delivery, and she said as long as baby A is head down, that is how we will roll. She also said that it is easier to deliver vag. if baby A is head down, and baby B is breech... So she can just reach up and pull the baby out by the leg... That kinda made me...

and

all at the same time.
I know that I am just rambling on and on about this... But DANG. I am getting so excited! Everytime I see those little buggers...

I just get all weepy! The one is always bouncing around... The other one is always just floating there chillin... Its the smaller one that is always moving, and the bigger one is always just chilling... Their size is only off by a few days, so that is why she said not to worry..
