Awww I know my daycare lady used to have a separate room for her daycare, those toys were for everyone. Her children's rooms were at the other end of the house and their rooms and toys were off limits unless they invited one of the daycare kids in there. I always thought that was a good idea.

When we lived in Saugus we were in a small 2 bedroom mobile home so mine and my sister's room was the play room too. After my parents bought a house and we moved to Palmdale, (I was 9) my sister and I had our own rooms and the other bedroom was the play room until my brother got older.

Whew. Just got the boys settled into bed. Well, technically DS8 is in bed; DS4 has been sleeping on the floor next to his brother's bed since DH has been out of town. Verrrry weird for me to have a bed to myself...

Whew. Just got the boys settled into bed. Well, technically DS8 is in bed; DS4 has been sleeping on the floor next to his brother's bed since DH has been out of town. Verrrry weird for me to have a bed to myself...

And lovely too, isnt it?? I LOVE sleeping my myself!! I sleep in the middle of the bed and STTTTRRRRREEEEETTTCCHHHH out! I prefer sleeping alone.

I think I would like it more in a Queen bed. In a King it just feels so... lonely! Huge!

I still sleep curled up on my side. Though it is nice not to get kicked or head-butted in the middle of the night.

yep, not dealing with incompetent staff dropping gloves on the floor and then using them while working on your blood line is really nice.


I was teasing him yesterday, he asked for his blanket and as I covered him up I reminded/chastised him in a not-so-nice nursey voice "now don't cover your access site with the blanket"



In center they are very particular, they don't want you to cover the acess site for fear the needles will move and they won't see it. umm, those suckers are not going anywhere.. two pieces of tape on each line plus a bandaid on the puncture site plus another bit of tape to hold all the lines on his shoulder.. it takes a bit of efort to rip it all off.

So at home do you follow the 3 second rule with the gloves?

I would expect her to be in a nut house but I really think kate is going to cause those kids to have issues.. she is just so loud...I think that is what it is...

Yeah, my family used to say that I would probably have a nervous breakdown when I was 40! My stepdad used to say that nobody has their crap together like I did when I was 20, so something was bound to happen. Of course I had to prove them all wrong, I didn't end up in the nut house, instead I got cancer! Which was a good thing because it did make me rethink some of my obsessive compulsive stuff that I was always doing. Although the nut house might have been interesting! Maybe I'll try that when I'm 50!

according to our center, he's suppose to wear gloves when putting in needles and holding his sites, but the general consensus among other at home dialyzors is that not many bother with gloves, and if they do it's because they don't want to get messy with blood (non issue if you are doing things right).
