Unfortunately this Free car doesn't come with a class! But I think I could use one. There are so many buttons and gadgets it's unbelievable...DVD, CD, satellite radio, Ipod hookup, GPS, seat warmers, you can even hook your cell phone up and use buttons on the steering wheel to talk. Took me an hour to find the CD player, the tv screen/GPS thing moves when you push a button and the CD & DVD players are behind that, plus a 6 disc changer that I finally found hiding in the glove box.:lmao: I'll take a pic tomorrow of me sitting in it with the top down, but here it is!!!

Nope, because I don't really plan on eating in it. Nor do I plan on letting the kids eat in it. This was just sort of a special one time thing. They'll be darned lucky if I let them look at it!:rotfl2:

I'm going to be so spoiled I won't want to go back to a plain old car after this!

My boss was wishy-washying on buying the new car he wanted. But he found out last night that they are making another big payout on his mom's estate. It was more than he expected, so he decided to buy the new car. So he said, I knew this was my mom's way of saying that I should get the new car and you should have this one! See there really are angels! Thanks Mrs. M!

Of course now I'm going to think of her everytime I drive the car. I can just hear her now "Oh Honey Child, you will look so nice in that car". But then again I am also thinking I can hear her saying "and now we'll need to go buy you some nice new outfits to wear in the new car"!:lmao: Maybe I can have my other boss take me to Sak's Monday for proper clothing!:rotfl:

Well Ladies, I've had a long day...and think I'm going to head to bed early. Have a Great Evening and Happy Dreams!:cloud9:

I was at Nordstrom a few days ago and my grandma saw this thin white men's t-shirt. It had nothing on it and it was extremley thin and almost see-through. She laughed because she said my grandpa had a shirt like that and after a million washes, it looked "vintage" and he still insisted on wearing it all the time. :rotfl: She said that shirt in Nordstrom reminded her of my grandma's shirt. We were laughing because the price tag said $158!! There is no design on it or anything. :lmao:

So how was your day Alex? popcorn::
Pretty ho-hum. :)

Swim classes with the boys in the a.m. We saw one of DS4's preschool friends in the class right before DS', so they giggled at each other for a bit. :cutie:

DS8 started his new Minnow class (intermediate), which is all done in a swim lane. He was struggling a bit, and the head of the swim program came by calling out a name. He stopped at the lady next to me, then turned around and went back. I asked her what he was looking for, and she said he was looking for the parents of [DS]'s name.

So DH hopped up to see if he was looking for us, then they got into a serious discussion, so I hopped up and went over there. Apparently he had asked DH why we put DS into the Minnow class, and DH got his dander up and replied, "Because that's what YOUR STAFF said to do!"

Then the guy started talking about bumping DS down to the class he just graduated from, and I said I didn't want to do that. Five weeks ago, one instructor said to sign him up for the same class, so I did. Then two weeks later, at the end of the session, a different instructor said to sign him up for the next class. I questioned it at the time, said he was already signed up for the same level, and he insisted DS was ready to move up, but admitted the next class would be a challenge, but he thought DS was up for it. So I switched.

The guy backed off then. I said, "Look, he's signed up for two classes a week, so he'll progress quickly. He was tired today, the class is 45 mins. instead of 30, and he kept forgetting to side-breathe, so was bringing his body fully upright to pop his head out of the water to breathe." He agreed that DS would probably be fine, and he'd let the instructor in the weekday class know that DS is sort of "on the cusp" between the two classes, and may need to sit out a lap every now and then until he gets used to the pace.

In the afternoon I went shopping, since I had some coupons for OshKosh BGosh burning a hole in my wallet. I had 3 "Save $10 when you spend $35", and I needed to get some birthday gifts for my niece. So I got her some adorable clothes, and then got some things for DS4.

If you know the Osh Kosh store, the prices are outrageous, but then they post signs that say "60% off this rack" or "50% off this shelf" so it's not so bad. When they have coupons or a really good sale, I love it! So anyway, if I'd paid full price for my haul (which I'd never do), it would have cost something like $282. But with their "sale" and my coupons, it wound up totalling I think $82. Sweet!

I got a pair of embroidered jeans, embroidered denim mini-shirt, and two cute tops for my niece, and then I think 3 pair of pants and two long-sleeve tees for DS4. :thumbsup2

OMG! My dad has some of these! My mom says they are from his Army days. For those not in the know, he was in the service from 1963 - 1967!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

My grandpa was in the airforce and I guess he just always loved those shirts! I can't believe similar ones are $158!!! I told my grandma that if anyone really wants those to just run down to Walmart or Target to see if they have them. :rotfl:

Aww...that is quite frustrating being told different things by those instructors. :headache: I hope your DS gets used to the class times and those breaks sound like a good plan. My little sister swims 3-4 times a week and it's about an hour or an hour and a half long. I'm not sure if they give them breaks or not but she said it's exhausting when the coach makes them to relays non-stop. :faint:

Woohoo!! I got 270 pts in the step aerobics!! I was so bad at it the first time. :lmao:
