Why are some people such snobs when buying a house? I'm watching a show where it's a young couple, first time home buyers on a pretty tight budget. They won't even consider one house because it stinks and the owner's are smokers. Apparently they aren't aware that you can shampoo the carpet, paint the walls and open a few windows to air it out!!

It's amazing how some people can see the potential of just a little paint and cleaning up and other people are appalled. They would rather pay $100,000 more for a clean house!

I think the last two years have been crappy storylines. It's time for it to end.

Yeah, I guess there's only so many fruitcakes that can freak out in the ER and only so many characters to have affairs with the other characters!

Talking about Grey's, I just watched "Made of Honor," with you know who.

Loved it. But I am such a chick flick lady.
And so is DH believe it or not. That is to say...a chick flick guy!

Yeah, I've watched that show and scratch my head at it sometimes. Getting hung up on paint colors, how the current occupant decorates.. other things that are very minor and fixable.

Even on Million Dollar Listings show, there was a lady working for a clinet that was very rude and laughed over the decor, exclaiming over the cleanliness... "oh he doesn't want this" and being as all heck.. one of the properties the client had specifically asked about from the realtor.

It was odd!

I used to watch a lot of shows like that. But now I tend to watch a lot of medical, home improvement, travel type shows.

Oh, guess what DH did today? He got me my very own new fly rod and reel! So guess what I'm going to be doing this weekend!

DH knows my criteria...only movies where they die of natural causes.

Yeah, I'm afraid so. I emailed the two ladies from my area that invited me to join a ladies fly fishing club with them. So hopefully I hear back from them soon, otherwise I really have no idea what I'm doing. But then again, complete lack of knowledge about a subject has never stopped me before!

The Office is my fav choice for Thursdays now. I was into Greys and then I lost interest. I dont know why It was always good.

Hello!

Just got off the phone with my mommy.

She and my dad just got back today from their whirlwind tour of the northern border states on the west half of the country.

They had a great time at the class reunion, met up with some of my dad's family on the res, visited with my mom's sis the last couple days. (And stood up as witnesses for my aunt's wedding to her longtime beau.)

Hey! DD is off the computer, she just needed it for a few minutes. I think the reality of college level work is starting to set in. School work has always come so easy for her and she's never really had to work or study very hard. I think this will be good for her.
