The Celebrity Apprentice 2

Annie kept mentioning how she's a mother. How does someone raise kids to grow up and get a career when their mom gambles for money as a profession? :confused3

I think that is really uncalled for- how do people on welfare raise their kids to grow up with a career when their mom sits home and takes free handout money from the government for a living??
See if you say it that way people will be all over you, but its ok to put someone down because they are a poker player??

*** I can't believe I stayed up this late for that ending. At least tell us why the designers quit.

Joan did not like the design the owner had planned so she asked if she could bring someone into help him see her vision. The designer didn't like this so he hung up on Joan. Then called back and quit.

So really it wasn't all Joan's fault. Unless they edited something out.

well that was a waste of my time watching that show, Trump knew who he was putting as the final two and who was going to win from the start of the show- that woman is such a nasty old hag I can't stomach her.

Yep. He wanted his friend (Joan) to win all along. He let her call people names in the board room, walk off and then back on, and do whatever else she wanted. Anybody else would have been fired. I agreed with everything Annie said at the end, but I knew he was going to pick Joan. :headache: I like watching the show, but when it is so obviously biased, it makes me not want to watch it again.

I'd hire Annie in a heartbeat. What a lady.

I think Clint was the most telling when, when asked who he would fire, he said "your editors".

Money, money, money money!!!! KUDOS to Ms. Joan :yay:!!!

Boardroom was pretty nasty tonight! Did you all see Joan hug Annie. I wasn't expecting that.

Joan did this with Clint. She said she would never talk to him again or go to his concerts. Next task she was fine with him.:confused3

I think Joan has heart. She just seems harsh, she is a comic and gets paid to make fun of people.

Plus like Clint said he wants Trump to fire the editing guy. We don't know all what was said when cameras weren't rolling.

Me too. The editors made him look horrible. Since Trump complimented him in the end, there must have been a lot we didn't see, I guess.

So glad Joan won. She's all class and treated everyone on the show with class except two people who didn't really deserve it.

1) Annie - Joan was right to call her a piece of trash, she is. Have you folks ever watched the WSOP on ESPN? My god, no doubt these people are great card players, but they have absolutely no class whatsoever.. Annie has acted like a b**ch this whole season.. she's lied time after time. She set people up to fail like Melissa. That's not great game playing, that isn't in the spirit of what this show is about. And how about that episode where sweet Natalie tried calling poker players for donations. Annie found out about it and came rushing over like an insane woman, yelling and berating sweet Natalie!! How dare you yell at that sweet girl!! That pissed me off so bad.. who does Annie think she is? She thinks the poker world is her untouchable, that others can't try to get a piece of it. Annie, get the f**k outta here loser!!

2) Brandi - Yea she's hot and that's about all she's got going for her. She rode Annie's coattails the whole season, she's not bright and Piers agrees. And this chick is about as unfaithful as it gets.. she made out with the male actor about 5 or 6 weeks ago.. and she was gushing and blushing about it in the boardroom.. she loved it!! I can't wait till her hubby finds about that one.. don't know if you guys know but her hubby is some huge wrestler or MMA guy. That will be a fun discussion at the dinner table.

Everyone else loved Joan and she got along well with, even Clint. That guy is a serious douchebag and Joan was able to tolerate it..

And fact is, Joan won 3/5 criteria. How does that make Trump biased? Trump didn't pick the winners of the criteria, the Kodak people did!!!!

Good Job Joan, see you next season!!

I agree!!! I can't imagine wanting to work with that mean, nasty woman -- she doesn't let anyone get a word in edgewise and doesn't like you if you don't bow at her feet and think she's the best thing ever. I don't love Annie, but at least she worked her butt off.

.I'd hire Annie in a heartbeat. What a lady.

If Annie's a lady, I'm the Queen of England. She lied, she manipulated, she talked behind peoples' backs and she cussed like nobody's business. Joan's behavior was not the best either, but at least she was up front about it.

This whole season was awful. The Celebrity Apprentice is bad but this one was way worse than the last one. I actually found myself missing the "Apprentice: Martha Stewart" throughout this season...

A Lady?:lmao:

Ladies do not lie, backstab, control, insult, take credit for others' work, on and on and on!

Not saying Joan was a lady either, however, Annie certainly was no lady.

That got a chuckle outta me.

I am not as vested in Celebrity Apprentice and do really care all that much who wins, since it's all for charity.

With that said I was kinda rooting for Annie.

Wow, did we watch the same show? :confused3

If winning is all about the last challenge I guess Joan deserved to win, she did take 3 out of 5 criteria.
But if you consider the season as a whole, I think Annie should have won.

I don't really care for either of them, but if I had to choose one to go to lunch with... I'd pick Annie.

You would go to lunch with Annie? Can I ask why? Unless you want to learn how to play cards, I don't get it. At least Joan would provide some comic relief during your meal. Annie is as dry as a desert tumbleweed.

We definately didn't watch the same show. She compared Annie to Hitler. Hitler! Do you know what Hitler did??? Do you really know what Hitler did? There is no joking about that. I would have booted Joan at that very moment. Then she said her friends were mafia (no where near as bad as Hitler of course)..and on and on.

I loved Joan Rivers until this. I woudn't go to one of her shows or watch her on TV, if she was playing on all the channels. I can't believe that Donald let her go on and on the way he did. Insult after insult after insult. It's one thing to play the game and try to beat your opponent..it's another to say the things she did to and about Annie and Clint. And Melissa and the name calling. I was so glad to see that whiney Melissa (nah nah, you are talking about me..I'm telling!) go.
I think Donald was off his rocker. The one chosen wasn't supposed to just be about the last task..it was supposed to be overall. If he was really hirign someone who would work with him..do ya really think he would have picked Joan?
This was the worst ending on any of the apprentices I've seen. What a waste of time..I knew who he was going to pick when he didn't fire Joan's sorry butt a long time ago.

You obviously didn't read my post. I said she treated everyone with class except the two people who didn't deserve it and those were Annie and Brandi. She got into arguments with Clint, which were well deserved. The guy is a fool.. and towards the end, eventhough he acted like an ignorant ape, she still was able to be cordial with him and be friends toward the end.

Also, what's up with everyone calling Annie the best poker player in the world? I don't get it. The woman has never even made it to the final table at the WSOP Main Event.

I read your post. We don't agree that they deserved to be treated the way she did. In many cases, they were reacting to her. Hitler..again, do ya know what he did?
She also said awful things about Clint..it wasn't just an argument. She did a lot of mumbling about many of the people, and there was always a lot of classless name calling..we went back and watched some this weekend. I missed a lot of her comments the first time around. In my opinion, Joan has zero class.
I did not get the opinion in Clints interview a couple weeks ago, that he and Joan are now friends LOL.

Ugh, I can't believe Joan won. Did she bring any money in during the entire show?

I have always liked her, but I was shocked by her rudeness. She acted in the last boardroom like she is a woman who grew up on old fashion manners and respect....and then did the exact opposite.
