The Carter?Clinton snub

did anyone notice how ex-President Jimmy Carter walked right past Clinton without acknowledging him at all?
I notice it immediately and mentioned it to the TV repair man who was fixing my TV during the inaugaration. He also noticed it.
I know Carter has some different opinions than Clinton (who doesn't) but I thought they got together a few times as ex presidents. that must be fun times....

Hmmm...I can't say that I noticed that but I didn't see everything. I did notice that Jimmy Carter and his wife (especially his wife) were less "warm and friendly" than the other presidents. Not sure why.

Then there was the picture the other day. Bush 41, WJC, BHO, GWB, and Jimmy Carter. The first four men were standing side by side, shoulders touching, looking warm and friendly. JEC was standing about 1.5 feet away looking all alone.

It reminded me of that time that VanHalen got together on stage, and Dave Lee Roth was standing a couple of feet away from the rest.

I think Carter is having delusions of grandeur....He has nothing to be uppity about, he was a crappy President...

From their body language, there wasn't any warm and fuzzies.

I did notice the closeness of Bush Senior and Barbara with the Clintons. They appear to sincerely enjoy each other's company.

Well, it just goes to show that when politicians leave politics out of things, something gets accomplished! Bush Sr., and Clinton have done a lot of good. I have no doubt they disagree and it musthave been weird for Bush Sr. to hear Hillary trashing W when she was on the campaign trail. But they clearly put that aside in the name of friendship and working together.

I saw the warmth between the Bushes and the Clintons and it made me feel good. I like and respect them both.

Me too. I have a soft spot for Bush senior, I don't know why, but I do. I think it's incredibly cool that he lives life to the fullest, and he still parachutes. Rock-on Bush senior!

Bush Sr. never bothered me....... He sort of knew what he was doing ...... except for the economy........

I heard a commentor say that during the luncheon about a week or so ago (when all the former Presidents, GW Bush, and Obama got together at the White House) Carter said something that everyone disagreed with and things got a bit hot. So the actions yesterday could still be stemming from that.
