We won't be staying at ASMovies though, it wouldn't be a problem for me to go over there and get it and take it back when finished would it? If there isn't one at Pop, I'm definitely interested.

awesome. I started a thread to see if there was one at Pop. I don't think there is though, so I don't mind traveling a little to get it.

Is the tray on the front removeable? Both of my kids are 4 and haven't been in a stroller in a long time! There is no way they'd sit with a tray over them like that!

You are in luck...your dates are open.
Pretty much, we are going to purchase a stroller together. The more swappers we have, the less the cost per person.
It the stroller will be shipped to the resort in the name of the first swapper. They use it for thier vacation and pass it on to the next swapper, either in person (the most effective way) or as I understand these things work (this is my first swap) by leaving it with guest services in the name of the next swapper. As I understand from researching swaps, they can only hold it for one week, so we need to fill in some gaps.
We'll hammer out the rules and details in the upcoming weeks! Hope you are along for the ride!

Just wanted to remind that double strollers are $31 a day at Disney now. So the fee we have to pay would be nothing close to the amount it'd cost over the period of several days to rent.

yea it sounds great...as long as everything goes according to plan. I'm a worry wart! So I would pick up the stroller from gs @ the resort, then use the stroller and then at the end of my trip leave it at guest services for the next person? is that right? I hear about a lot of swaps on these boards. Does guest services at the resort really agree to keep these items until they get picked up by the next person? that sounds like it would be a burden on them? Count me in for Aug 18-22. Once you find out more info let me know. Thanks

It's ideal to get in contact with the people before and after you and work out arrangements. I think the more time it's kept out of luggage services, the better. So if you meet up with the person and get it from them, it's less likely to get lost. If that isn't possible though, it can be kept in luggage services. Go read up on the fridge swaps if you are still unsure, they have all the rules laid out well. We will need to establish some rules once we have enough people, I assume.
