Avenue Q is hysterical!!!! Don't pass up the chance to see it! I've seen it twice so far. The second time, my coworker and I were lucky enough to be in the front row with the lottery tickets.

I just found out I'm going to see Spring Awakening at the end of the month! My coworker was invited to go to the show, plus dinner, from a person she knows who works on the Cultural District board in Pittsburgh. I'm going as her "date" for the evening. I can't wait to see it!

Hooray! I'll def. have to see Avenue Q when it comes around! (October cannot come fast enough. Then Wicked comes back around in December!)

I can't decide if I want to download the soundtrack now and listen to the songs, or just be totally surprised when I see the show. I kind of like to know the songs ahead of time so I can follow along better. Hmmmmm, decisions, decisions......

A lot is lost in translation between the OBC and the stage. Only one song isn't lost, maybe two.

I'd see it first, and if you like it, buy the OBC. (YouTube also helps )

But definately, a must-see. I'd see it 10 times over if I could! 20 times!

Well, tomorrow I'm going to see the Marvelous Wonderettes.

I've heard a lot of good things about the show, but I'm pretty much going without any expectations. I have company in town this week & that's what they wanted to see.

I had brunch at 5 Napkin Burger this morning! We really enjoyed it. Except at first I ordered chili and eggs thinking it would be like juevos rancheros. It was fried eggs with what looked like pulled pork underneath. Not at all what I was expecting and exchanged for the eggs benedict sliders. Delicious!!!! What burger meat I had on them was so tasty. I really want to go back for lunch or dinner sometime and have a regular burger.

Saw Wicked last week after spending 6 days in NY. All I can say is OMG was it GREAT!!!!

I just saw it on Saturday and it's FANTASTIC. It's basically the movie on stage, but the music (all written by Dolly Parton) is completely original (except for the title song, of course!) and the cast (especially Allison Janney) is just phenomenal.

I have hardly heard anything about the Tony nominated musicals. I can't believe 9 to 5 did not get nominated for Best Musical. Seems to have the most buzz besides Billy Elliot.

My friend and I are taking our daughter's to NYC next month for their 13th birthdays. It's our first time there for all of us and we are SO excited!!!

Last night we got online and bought tickets to Mamma Mia and Little Mermaid. Has anyone seen these shows? Hopefully they good!!!

We were hoping to see Wicked but it was sold out for the date we could go plus we found out it was coming to our town in a few months so we promised the girls we would go then.

Disney can do it!! We have seen Mama Mia over and over
and over again, thats how much we LOVE that show!!! Have

Have fun! I haven't seen The Little Mermaid, but I saw Mamma Mia! this past January. It's a lovely show. Not too much plot, but definately a must-see for ABBA fans, and is a great mother-daughter show.

Has anyone seen Hair yet? My friends and I saw it on Thursday night and LOVED it! It was such a fun, upbeat show. It was very interactive with the cast out in the audience more than they were even on stage, and I somehow ended up in the show I highly reccommend it! We also got tickets to In the Heights and Billy Elliott for within the next few weeks. Has anyone seen either one?

For anyone who's interested, the pre-Tony concert is on this weekend. It's on CBS tonight at 7:00 here in NY. They have the dates and times for other cities on the Tony's website. It'll features performances from Hair, Billy Elliott, Guys and Dolls, Shrek, 9 To 5 and more. Can't wait!

I did! They're two of best shows I've seen in awhile.

I saw In The Heights back in January and it's fantastic! Just a really fun show. My folks are both from the Bronx, and they said it was like watching a musical about their street growing up. I'm addicted to the cast album.

I have not seen Billy Elliot on Broadway yet, but I saw the London production twice and that is just a great show. I just read that one of the boys I saw in London (Tanner Pflueger) is now playing Billy on Broadway. He was terrific!

They have several kids rotating in that role because the dancing is so strenuous -which is why the main 3 boys got nominated for a joint Tony - and it's just an amazing show. Beautiful story, amazing dancing.
