The Boneyard

This pretty much echoes what others have said, but we were just there with my 3 and 5 year old. There is only one way in and out, but I didn't feel comfortable letting them wander because I thought the dig area was a little far away from the climbing part of the playground. I was worried my little one would get lost and not be able to find her way back. I think if you stationed one parent by the dig area and one by the entrance, it would be fine to let them explore.

Does the Boneyard close when there is rain? I mean, even like a light rain. From the videos online it seems like it would be really slick with even the lightest sprinkle.

We have only 1/2 day planned for AK, and the Boneyard is a BIG part of that. If the attraction closes, we'd rather not burn the day going there and instead we'll put our HS contingency plan into effect.

It does close for even a little rain. Bit it seemed to open back up quickly after the rained stopped

That's what I thought, thank you. It drives me crazy but that'll probably be a day that's up in the air until we're actually there.
