The Bob show

Note to self, no food or drink consumption during podcast. Also, have tissues within easy reach.

I don't suppose we could get the unedited costaguadamexirico.

Thanks for letting us help you put together this memorial.

I have been listening to all of the podcasts and I am now downloading March 2008, and have enjoyed the growth of the team and the show.

What I get a kick from is the joy you all had in the "Bawbisms" and the fun you had with your friend. But as you all settled down and allowed Bob to finish his comment he always had a good point to the story. And you would freely admit it to Bob.

Though there was a lot of fun at his expense, you must have loved that man very much. I know I have friendships that deep and there is no harm meant at all when we poke fun at our little foibles.

He is, and will be missed for a long time.

OH My....this started me already with the tears.

I can't say what my favorite is except that I love the July 4th citizenship ceremony. I actually still have the uncensored Best of Bob and listen to it a lot! I laugh so hard every time I listen to it.

Bob was amazing and I can't wait to hear this weeks show.

Another one for Costaguatemexirico....seriously one of the funniest moments. Pig "doot" is another good one.

Trust me Pete, I don't think it matters too much. There were so many classic Bob moments. Looking forward to see what you guys come up with.

Chris

I'd love to hear that again, myself (and actually remember to download/save it this time before it goes poof ;)).

There's another one I was thinking of... an older episode and I'm not sure which it was ... but somehow the team got on the topic of watching soaps and Bawb revealed he used to go to a bar to watch soaps after work. The Pete-Kevin-John response to this had me in tears.

Loved all of the ones mentioned already plus one where Bob had taken a tour and ended up crawling on the floor at Cosmic Ray's as part of some kind of treasure hunt

I don't remember this one--if anybody remembers can you please post which eppie it is? Thanks

I second everything that has been mentioned above - those were all specific ones I was thinking of - I would also love to hear Bob say Dianer's name. Just for old time's sake. :goodvibes

Thank you Pete. :)

The one's that come to mind are the dole whip container episode and 'Costguadamexirco'. There must have been some follow up to Rex's wild night in search of the PodCast Crew. That night on the boards, was my favorite of all times!

Lots of great memories mentioned already! I loved when he tried to make garbage sound so interesting at "Interventions". But I won't ever forget his last email episode where he was going to give a pin to a little girl who had sent in an email wondering if he would sell her a pin. That was so touching and to me said a lot about the his character and kindness for others.

Oh the choices.... While I thought Bawb was hilarious, I loved listening to just how much he cared that people had a great time. The story that I think is the most moving is Candlelight Processional.

I would like to hear a mix of "best of Bob" segments and the group just sharing Bob stories. It can be the little things like Bob scouting the best route to a restaurant. I sure the list is endless.

The mojito talk......

So I loved the Family Magic tour review and would love to hear that but I also think it would be good to hear how Bob became a part of the DIS. In the 10th anv show they went around the table and everyone told there story as to how they came to Orlando and became a part of the team. There are so many new people who may not know the whole Bawb story and for those of us who do we can always hear it again.

It was bothering me not remembering so I went lookin' for it. They were talking about Super Soap weekends and the episode is August 28, 2007. It's during the news part, right near the beginning (though the teasing continues on and off throughout the show, as it so often did). :goodvibes

I love when Bob talks about coming to Orlando to work with Pete on the Anniversary show. The one where he reads the old letter from an employee at his job at the grocery store.

I also love when Pete talks meeting Bob and how he thought Bob was a little crazy, but when he took him to the airport Bob got emtional about leaving. I'm not really sure if this is from the Anniversary shows or from Bob's memorial show.

There are SO many funny Bob bits, but I also hope you play something that shows how much Bob loved Disney and what he did. He was so devoted and passionate and put in so much work into research and finding things out for us.

"Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion."
I have a feeling that is what this show will be. What is so incredible about Bob is most of us never had an opportunity to meet him but we all considered him a friend. When I think about this anniversary, tears stream down my face for a man I never met. It reminded me of the stories about when Walt Disney passed away and even though many people didn't get to meet him, they still realized what an incredible man he was - what an impact he had. On our "little" community, Bawb had such a great impact. That is why I think no matter what segments Pete picks for the show, it will be tremendous and a keeper, just like Bawb.

I liked the time when everyone was giving Bob a hard time for going to watch soap operas at a bar. So funny!
