Just booked the deluxe club level room for July - I am so excited!!! :cool1:

You should be!! Those rooms are gorgeous, spacious, have great views (love the colors outside at night around the Boardwalk), and have the best cast members EVER in the Innkeepers Club. Great choice!

I feel very lucky to have gotten one with the discount, it has been my Disney dream to stay in one of those rooms. :goodvibes
In August 2010 we first stayed in that room with a discount and also got it again on a discount in August 2011.

In December 2010 we tried to reserve it but with a Fall/Winter room only offer or Annual Pass rates, however the Deluxe Rooms were not available and I tried looking online everyday for 4 months. So that time we reserved their Standard Club Level Room.

What were your non-CL room requests and where did you end up? We have a water view room reserved. Thanks!

We've decided to eat at DTD (Wolfgang Puck's Cafe) on our arrival day. Will Disney bus service be OK, or should we plan on taking a taxi? What would cab far be between the resort and DTD?

I am not sure of the cost but I would say to take a taxi because for whatever reason the buses from the Deluxe Resorts to Downtown Disney seem to take forever.

The buses to and from ANY resort to DTD seem to take forever to come. At BWI, I always set a 20 minute time limit, and if the bus is not there yet, it's just a short walk to get a taxi. The bus wait BACK to the resorts never seems to take as long.

Thanks! I may wait a few minutes for a bus, but have a taxi in the back of my mind as a back-up. The reason I asked is I still remember being at the YC bus stop on our last trip in 2007. We were waiting for a bus to MK to get over to the Poly, but there was a HUGE crowd trying to get to DTD. They said they had been waiting almost 30 minutes.:sad2: When the bus finally arrived, it couldn't even fit all the people on it. I'm usually pretty easy-going when I'm on vacation, but that would make me . I find it puzzling that with what Disney charges for the deluxes they don't provide a deluxe level of service when it comes to transportation. Unfortunately, this is nothing new for the Epcot resorts.

I agree with you that on paper anyone might think that the Deluxe Resorts should have the best or most buses because guests staying at them are paying more then the Value or Moderate Resorts. However others will say when staying at the Boardwalk we also have the advantage of walking to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, so those are two less buses that we will need. So basically that's what sets them apart is their close locations to the parks, however it's still not an excuse for having bus service that takes forever.

Standby...it looks like this ADR is probably going to change again, probably to Artist Point.:rolleyes1

We have a reservation for the Around the World Segway tour at Epcot. Our tour starts at 8:30...we were told to be at the main entrance by about 8 to allow time to get checked in by 8:15. Since it's before the park opens, will we need to take a taxi from BWI, or will we be able to enter through the International Gateway and walk to the front?
