The BWI IPO also serves YC and BC, so perhaps they just get mixed up. ALL of the dexluxe concierge rooms at BWI face the boardwalk, but not all of the standard concierge rooms face the boardwalk.

We also our doing a "girls weekend" - for my mom's 80th, and my sister's 50th! I am the planner, and really want this to be special for my sisters and mom.

I am a very light sleeper and didn't have a problem with any noise

No there are all concierge level.

Yes, they were all updated in 2008.

Ok! I got my 2nd reply from the IPO today and they did a MUCH more thorough job of explaining why the first response said NOT all the Deluxe rooms face the Boardwalk. Here is their response:

"All Deluxe Club Level rooms have Boardwalk views (this includes view of the lagoon) however some rooms have a more direct view than others. There are some deluxe rooms that are at more of an angle & have the Boardwalk View in addition to views of other areas. We can always place a request for one of the more head-on rooms, but please keep in mind we can't guarantee it. Our room assignors, however, try to work their best to make it happen Hope this helped! Please let us know if you would like to place this request and if there's anything further we can assist you with.

No I just don't know what the IPO is talking about and was hoping someone would chime in. The rooms are above the bakery and Seashore Sweets. They are directly over the Boardwalk so I'm not envisioning any angles or other views.

That is exactly what I was thinking. It seemes strange that they would give an explanation like that. When I stayed in a deluxe room last year the guy checking us in told us all the deluxe rooms had boardwalk views...

I'm not an expert (Only been once) but I remember us having a 1/2 gallon of milk. Now, don't just take my word for it. Hopefully other, more experianced guests will chime in.

Ok, good! I thought it was just me! I searched all over the internet looking at property maps and photographs and I cannot for the life of me figure out how ANY room that is in that front row along the boardwalk wouldn't be considered to have a direct Boardwalk/Lagoon view

I think it should fit, even if only on the door. I couldn't fit the box with the remaining 1/2 of the 10" cake I had made for my b-day so I wound up throwing that out. It wasn't that big. It's just a normal mini fridge.

Do the deluxe club rooms have free wireless internet, or do you have to go to the lounge, or is it all something you have to pay for? A great thing we loved about staying at the Contemporary was having the internet access for last minute restaurant decisions. We could pull up allearsnet and check out the menus before we decided
