Is 4253 a regular club room or a deluxe? (please say deluxe, please say deluxe! :rotfl:)

LOL, no :rotfl: but 4251 is :)

Just realised I might have got my room numbers mixed up! I was in 4253 which is a regular room, to the left side is another regular room but to the ride of 4253 was a deluxe room, I can't remember though if it's 4251 or 4255, I think it's 4255 but can't be 100% on that.

When you look at photos of the Boardwalk frontage overlooking the Boardwalk most of the rooms you see (4th floor club level) overlooking the Boardwalk are deluxe rooms, presidential suite, and some standard club level rooms, in the scheme of things very few standard club level rooms overlook the Boardwalk. Most overlook the gardens.

Thanks Clare! Your pictures are gorgeous....I hope I can luck out and get a great room like that!

I wonder what the odds are that we will get a BW view with a king bed...we will be checking in around noon on a Sunday for a week...maybe they will be super accommodating since it is my b-day :rotfl:

I would not mind a garden view, we had a standard garden view room last year and it was very nice but I like the idea of sitting on the balcony with a drink at night and watching the activity down below

Have a wonderful trip :) No matter what happens you will love the BWI CL, it's fanastic and if you get a great Boardwalk view room than that's a bonus.

I really want to request rm4256 but is this the TOP floor or is there a 5th floor..thankss

4256 is on the club level floor (4th floor) which is the top floor in that section, part of the BWI goes up to the 5th floor.

thanks clare. I am staying club level and wanted to have no one above me (I want to be on top floor) but is it possible to be on top floor club level AND have the lounge on the top floor? I guess I am confused b/c I THOUGHT BWI had 5 floors yet why is the lounge on the 4th floor and how is it possible to be on the top floor when it is the 4th floor? Am I making sense? I just want to end up with a club level room, top floor with a view of the garden and illuminations with a covered deck (i.e a little shelter on my balcony). So is there a block of rooms to request that would cover all my "criteria"? THANK YOU! Melissa:worship:

This is a great thread. I am still trying to make it to the end....We leave in less than a week :) Can anyone tell me what the numbers are to the three garden suites with balconies? This would be most helpful... :thumbsup2

The club level (keyed access area) and the lounge are on the 4th floor - and that part of the BWI only has 4 floors so no-one is above the club level floor. :) Just a little earlier though there are 5 floors, but the 5th floor stops at the corner of the building where the club level begins.

I don't know if you can see from this photo (I've made it larger so hopefully you can) - to the right there's 5 floors but where it gets to the Flying Fish it goes to just 4 levels - to the left of the Flying Fish on the 4th floor is the Club Level - the room with the large balcony (and what looks like another floor above it) is the presidential suite. My latest room (4253) was over Spoodles on the 4th floor - you can see the 'enclosed' balcony. My room which had a great view of Illuminations/the garden (4256) was the next room along but on the opposite side of the hallway, from what I remember it was 'open' though with no shade. I'm afraid I can't help re. what balconies offer shade.

Awesome! That is incredibly helpful! Where is the actual lounge? Is it on the back side of the resort (garden view) since I heard you can see Illuminations from the balcony of the lounge. If so, what section is it behind?
Thanks again, your picture and information are great!! :goodvibes

Glad I can help :)

The lounge is on the garden side, it has a large balcony where you can stand and watch Illuminations - if you look at my picture, it's located just along from the presidential (steeplechase) suite but on the opposite side.

So it would be to the left of Spoodles, 2 levels above the awnings, and then on the back? Does it run the entire length of that section? Thanks so much!

Yes, if you're looking at my picture, look to the left of Spoodles, then follow the long balcony, the lounge is just past that, but at the back. The actual balcony is not as wide as the large balcony in the picture and I guess it's probably half as long (I'm not good with sizes lol), although it's not as large a lounge as the Poly or GF area, it's larger than the YC and BC lounges. Another great place to view the fireworks is the little sitting area off the 4th floor elevators - I stood out there a couple of times, great view :) Just come out of the elevators, turn left and you go into this really cute little area, open the french doors and you step out onto a balcony.

Thank you :worship: We're getting so excited and all these little details are so fun to learn while we wait :)

THanks Clare! I contacted BWI Club Level and they were SO nice. I explained my specific requests and they promised to do their best. Thanks!
