Your Dark Lordship,

I am humbled by your gracious offer and would most obligingly accept the Honor you seek to bestow upon me. I shall doeth my besteth (oops, my lisp is showing!) to bring together the Worlds of Feather & Fire and act as a soothing voice of diplomacy towards those that fail to see you as you truly are.

However, I must also shoulder with equal fervor my responsibilities of the realm of Light and therefore, find myself in the possibly enviable position of acting like a complete idiot as often as the situation allows.

My Gracious Queen of the Brigade,

Fear not! I shall serve both Royal Masters equally and without favoritism. I shall endeavor to bring to you only the best the Dark World has to offer.

I have been reading and thinking about the posts on this thread over the last several days and I have some comments. Please read them with an open mind...

I came up with the idea of wearing boas to the Princess Ball as a way of celebrating life and the living. My family and I had just gone through a horrible ordeal that ended with the death of my brother in law and I wanted to do something totally fun and frivolous. I was very touched that it caught on with so many friends on the boards, and it has actually cemented some new and wonderful friendships. Then the idea of the Realm of the Boa Brigade came up, and it has been so much fun reading the posts and getting more DISers to participate. The intention was to include anyone who wanted to be a member, the only stipulation being that the thread stay positive. My purpose has been to do something fun and upbeat for the boards.

Lately though, the posts have taken a dark turn and I am politely requesting that this come to an end. I realize that it has been tongue in cheek, but talk of evil, death, epitaphs and such does not belong on this thread. All you have to do is turn on the TV to see real evil at work...this thread is meant to be a fun, upbeat and positive escape from the real world.

I would have hoped you would have accepted our Queens invitation to join our realm as Lord Of The Dance. I think you would have made a wonderful addition to diversify our brigade. (as we have no flame headed villians at this time ) Its obvious that you have a BURNING Desire to be included, yet you turned down the Queens offer? I guess I am hoping that you can shed some LIGHT on the subject.

As the Creator of the Royal Logos, if you reconsider accepting the title of Lord Of The Dance, I would be happy to make you a new Royal Logo! (okay I would make you one either way! shhhhhh) Although, I thought you had made a wonderful boa and looked quite stunning in it!

I am here to attest that Tinkerbel129 aka Lori has been true to her commitment and has spread the word of the boa brigade.

She has asked Mom and I to also join and wear the famous or now infamous LGTW3MH aka Lime Green Tee with 3 mickey heads and boa as well as appropriate headpiece.

We have the shirts, we have the boa's, now all we need is the headpiece and I think we can get those when we arrive at WDW.

my favorite characters are Mike, especially since he is the wonderful LIME GREEN of the DIS boards and eeyore--boy what a combo that is!!

moms- is dumbo and dopey--in fact she was thinking of changing her name since she is not registered yet ( i still haven't hooked up her computer) from dopeymom to luvsbigears!!!! and that would make it official.
