For the first time, contestants on season six of NBC's wildly popular reality series The Biggest Loser: Families will get some help from 24 Hour Fitness while appearing on the show and after they are voted off to help them reach their goals at home.

During the season premiere, contestants are introduced to the bodybugg(R) calorie management system, which first debuted during season four. The bodybugg(R) has played a vital role in helping previous contestants stay on track to reach their fitness goals.
-- One episode will feature a 24 Hour Fitness personal trainer who makes a visit to one of the families at home.
-- One of the show's trainers will train contestants after a challenge at a 24 Hour Fitness club.
-- Another trainer from the show will lead an 80's-inspired group exercise class at a 24 Hour Fitness club, demonstrating the importance of varying one's workout routine.
-- During another episode, contestants visit New York City and experience a workout at the brand new 24 Hour Fitness Derek Jeter club in Manhattan.

The first reality series where everybody "loses," The Biggest Loser offers severely overweight participants the opportunity to undergo a radical physical makeover without any kind of surgery. Alison Sweeney (Days of Our Lives) is back to host the sixth season of the series, which challenges and encourages overweight family members to shed pounds in a safe and recommended manner through comprehensive diet and exercise as they compete for a grand prize of $250,000. The Biggest Loser provides the 16 strong-willed, yet hopeful, contestants with challenges, temptations, weigh-ins and eliminations until the final contestant remains to claim the title of "the biggest loser." Each team works out under the supervision of professional trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper.

i looove biggest loser! my husband and i became hooked for the first time last season! It's a great motivator for losing weight. I'd sit there with my dr pepper and cookie and all of a sudden not want it!lol. I only wish we started watching from the 1st season!

Yes, that was very uncomfortable watching. Jillian got realllllly angry...AND Allison looked embarassed by the exchange......does anyone think that may have been staged for ratings???

I just don't remember the fight at all. My memory is horrible, apparently.

The west coaster gets the show a couple hours later than the midwest/east. It starts at 7pm here in Nebraska.

Oh...on the subject of spoilers....

In my opinion, it's only a spoiler if someone says something BEFORE it's aired at all.

So if someone in the midwest or out east comes on and posts who was kicked off after it's aired for them...it's not really a spoiler.

West Coasters that don't want to know what happens should just avoid this thread during the evening of the show until they've had a chance to see it.
