The Big Monday SSR Ressie Thread

Well, folks, the big day is here; the day a lot of us new DVC owners can make a reservation at our new Home!

I'm hoping to get a studio for 6 days in May (yep, burning them points on a Saturday!). I'll let you know how it turns out.

Please share your experiences here, so we can all join in the fun!

I have to call MS to finish my BWV reservation for next year (standard 1 bedroom for the days before halloween!) Thanks for the reminder about how busy it is going to be, I think I will be poised to try to get in right at 9 so I can get my reservation and be done with it!

No problem this morning - got through at 9 AM EST and got the dates and accommodations we wanted! Thank you DVC for being ready for the influx of calls this morning!

my aprox wait time is 5 minutes and Ive been randomly selected to participate in a satisfaction survey.....

First thing to note...it rang and rang and then went quiet for almost long enough that i was about the hang up and loose my place in line...........

BTW I called the local number because I couldnt get a ring on the toll free number.

I'm not an SSR person but I did get through exactly at 9am (thank goodness I was listening to the radio and heard "it's 9am" or something!) and completed my BWV reservation, woohoo!!!! 8 glorious nights at 'home'. Good luck to all of you SSR people.

I dialed at 7:59 in case my clock was off--it wasn't! Then hit redial and was right in! So wonderful! Got exactly what we wanted--SSR studio June 20-23--we can't wait--it is our 8th anniversary!! Just a quick trip without the kids to check out the new home! I was also supposed to do a satisfaction survey, but I was so satisfied that I forgot!!

(I was done a few minutes ago, but I had to tell DW before I told DIS. I guess I need to work on my priorities )

Piece of cake. Called once a litle early, got "Our hours are...."

Called again, rang about 6 times, '3' to get MS, '3' to make a ressie, rang 4 times, got a CM. She took the info, "wait a moment please" then "you're all set".

Arriving Home (SSR!!!) for the first time Saturday, May 22 for 6 nights in a studio, requested non-handicapped.

Very painless, very professional. Quite a bit different from last May on the first morning FTP was available to the public....

Good job, DVC MS!!!

You're arriving on my birthday! I wanted to go during that time, but since we're in building 2 we can't make reservations before June 1. Maybe next year.

DONE! We're arriving May 17th! First ones there! In studio! Non-smoking, requested to be away from construction if possible.

So excited I forgot to hold for the survey. Woops! MIckey wont be mad will he?

100% success.
I was able to get my two ressies--dialed right at 9:00am and the phone rang and rang, finally got the recorded menu options--I finally got to the 6 DVC resort options on the menu, and selected it and the phone rang and rang -- I was a little surprise when a CM answered it (I thought I would get to listen to some music for a while ).

I was able to make my two ressies quickly!

Now, back to holding for Disney Dining....

Hi Everyone.

Got through, no problem. In for SSR June 28th through July 5th. Studio. I even asked for a water view, if possible.

I called on home phone to 407 number. Called right after that on cell to 800 number. Got through on 800 number quicker. Husband was trying from work also on 800 number and was on hold for what they said was a 2 minute wait time. Maybe 800 number is better today.

Called 3 times before they opened (800 #) answered at 8:00 Texas Time, put on hold approximate wait time 6 minutes, heard "Be our Guest"
Reservations complete- studio June 6-18 requested nonsmoking nonhandicapped, higher floor, near elevator.
Can't wait to get HOME!
