Not really overly surprised with LSU, but A&M was a shocker. Yes, Liberty has Dot Richardson at the helm but there is just so much talent on that Aggie roster. Not really a fan of either school but we sure do know a lot of Aggie fans who are sad.

Alabama says they are packing enough to be able to go straight from Norman to OKC without having to return to Tuscaloosa.

I'm not a huge fan of Bama, but I do really like Patrick Murphy (as far as coaches go). We saw him at a showcase tournament back in November and I was trying really hard not to fangirl and stare. Still, I always like the energy he seems to help bring to his team. I just don't seem them taking out OU in Norman. DD18 aside, I have a love/hate relationship with OU. I'd like to see someone else in it, but Patty has done so much for the sport as a whole.

I guess we'll start seeing how this plays out on Thursday. Nebraska/Tennessee is the matchup I'm most curious to watch. Tech and FSU might also be good.

Even if Bama were to take out Oklahoma, they would have zero chance to win the WCWS

Bama just doesn't have an elite,Top 5 program anymore.

They have a solid Top 15 program which is still something to be proud of,but they are no longer annual threats to win it all IMO.

Nebraska v. Tennessee could be a classic!
