The big G+ rides at HS gone by 1:07!

We were at DHS on Saturday. We got everything we wanted...it was actually easy. We ended up with this:

Rope Drop:
RnRC
ToT

I'm planning to RD these rides too during my trip. How did that go? I'm trying to get an idea of how long it will take...

A week ago, we rope dropped TOT and RNRC and had both done within an hour despite RNRC showing a wait time of 60 minutes (we queued for TOT first at ETPE due to the decreased operation capacity--RNRC was actually about 20 minutes). This was one of those extremely packed days at DHS. We did not purchase Genie+ because it does not fit our touring style. We do mornings, have some lunch and hit the pool until 5 or 6:00 p.m. at which time we typically hop to EPCOT for dinner or a festival.

Even making the mistake to ride RnRC first and ToT 2nd, we were on/off both rides by 9:30am. The mistake was that ToT was only operating 1 elevator shaft, so by the time we exited RnRC at 8:28am, it was already a 40 minute wait for ToT. I think we got in line for RnRC (they hold you on the street) by 7:45am (we were #s 4 & 5 in line) and they led us into the bldg around 8:20am. If we had lined up for ToT first, we would have been about 20 people back and on/off both of those rides by 8:45am I'm pretty sure. So know the status of ToT operations, or pick that one first anyway (TP "told" me to do RnRC first, but I presume that was based on ToT running full capacity).

Yeah, that's the mistake we made. I'm not sure how I didn't realize that given how much reading I've done here, but we did RnRC first (first limo of the day) and then spent 45 mins at ToT. Dummies. But given our experience all day getting LLs, I know it was not a crazy busy day.

Ah, thanks for the tips! I've noticed ToT has high wait times recently which must be due to the capacity issues. I think I'll just plan that one first then!

Wondering if today is a slower'ish day at DHS. I peeked on tip board at 8:16AM, and one could get Slinky for 7:15 pm and MFSR for 5:25pm. I am hoping it is like that later next week when I will be trying the "later in the day" stacking plan.

Rise is currently at 210 minutes and Star Tours is at 50 minutes... I'd say not!

And if you check the Lines app it has Rise at an actual 164 and Star Tours at 34. Every ride time posted by Disney seems to be inflated. Some by 30+ minutes. We have found the lines app to be correct.
How does tp calculate the lines? Do people post there times and help or do they have workers doing this in the parks everyday?

I have the lines app I will def have to make sure we update our waits this trip.
It's great - you start a timer as you get into the line and then end when you're about to board. So it's pretty accurate for people as they go through. Of course there's a lag but gives better real-time info.

Just to confirm, the Lines app is the one by TouringPlans that you need a paid subscription for?

so if I log on right on 7am and I pick say 4pm that would get pushed out even more
From everything I have read here I would say it’s likely. I’m going in June and my mentality is that what I choose won’t be what I end up with. It’s the worst part of the system for me.
