Love John Goodman as one of the bad guys. How often is he a bad guy?

I love John Goodman in it too. It's hard to picture that this was made 20 years ago. I love the party at the mothers house at the end with the music, singing and he gets her to dance.

Dennis Quaid is hot in any movie.

And yes, that is a great movie!

But when he has his shirt off in this movie he has the most perfect abs. Plus that accent.

OMG, I *do* love this movie! It is such a hot movie, but totally romantic too!

Yes, I have to agree, his accent was pretty awful! I stopped at a gas station on my way out of N.O. at 2 a.m. many years ago, and talked to a true-blue cajun boy! Now *that* was an accent!

Either way, that scene when they first tried to get together--right before the beepers went off-- SCORCHING!!!! Whew!
