The best trip report ever???

Upset? Me? The calm, composed and friendly joedisney lose his cool? No way. So what if I spent a little time away from the boards and came back to find this poll. No problem. Third place? There’s certainly nothing wrong with that. Distant third you say. Big deal. I can handle it. So what if I spent months crafting the perfect blend of suspense, humor, love and yes magic into each and every one of my ten episodes. Yes, I toiled over countless revisions, stayed up till the wee hours of the morning, poured my heart and soul into every word. It’s OK. At least I know my loyal fans are still behind me. Take Mrs. Zurg for instance. What’s that? She did what? Switched her vote? It can’t be. The same woman that at one time was bumping me more times than my wife. How can this be?

That’s it, the gloves are coming off. Are you people insane? Those other reports are good, but what are you people thinking? Comparing my reports with the “The very boorish trip report” is like comparing War and Peace with Dr. Dolittle. “I woke up and it was the first day of my holiday because I drank beer.” Helloooo, it’s not a “holiday”, it’s a vacation. Oh and by the way Kevin, I checked your picture and you look nothing like Brad Pitt. You are quite handsome though. Oops, scratch that. That was the old joedisney coming out.

Maybe I’ll just post my next report on some other board. I’m sure the Passporter folks would appreciate my work. I could be like Lawyer Malloy, picked up by the competition the day after I’m released (this is a football reference for you non-sports fans- that’s American football Stringer). No, that would be too easy. With our trip set for January, it’s time to step it up a notch. Watch out UK, the Yanks are coming. The cast is ready. The Octopus is primed. Our newest member, the 2 year-old precocious queen of the house, Caley Elisabeth, is set to entertain all with her antics. The canvas is clean and white, waiting for the perfect words to describe our next ten day adventure. I am ready for the task. My weapons err pencils are sharp.
