Perhaps this is not the right forum to ask this question on, but I've never been on a Disney Cruise. It would be a dream come true! I know there is a budget board, but was wondering from the "cruise experts", if there are any secrets to getting the best deals on a cruise.
I teach and have 2 in school, so off season is probably not an option for us. Summer seem so hot, hot, hot.
Am I asking too much?
Thanks

I would use the board sponsor just click the link at the top of page and fill out the paper work for Dreams and they will get a quote back to u ..... i put one in and they got bck to me on a sunday ....................

It will be hard to get a good deal following school schedules. Look for a 4 day weekend and plan a short cruise then maybe you could take one extra day off work and go on a 4 night Wonder. We have a 4 day weekend in November around election day and I am trying to work something out.

I would look into doing a 3-day cruise, which sails from Thurs-Sat ,on or about Martin Luther King Jr day.....January offers great deals, and the weather is nice as well....

Also, in looking at my calendar, Veterans Day, 11/11/04, is on a Thursday....you could book the 3 day, miss only a Friday, and lock into some of the best off season rates, as well as nice weather...check out www.allseastravel.com , they list cruise rates right on the website....

Thanks so much for the great info! I emailed Dreams Unlimited for a quote, thanks to you. Now I'll try the others.

In the email for Dreams Ultd, they asked if I had an annual pass. I do right now, but it will expire before the date I put in . I chose to try for 2 quotes; one for a 4 day cruise (thought maybe I could book the WDW part cheaper myself) and one for a Land and Sea; both Thanksgiving week'04 (I'm def. not set on these dates, just trying to start somewhere). I checked Yes for the AP quote. Is it worth it to renew just for the rate difference on a cruise? Will they give me a quote w/ and w/out the AP rate? How about more than one date at a time? Seems sort of limiting.
Thanks!Thanks!Thanks!

I would also book as far in advance as possible. Disney raises it's rates as it gets nearer to cruise date.

It it also a good idea to look on the disneycruise.com site and put in the dates and amount of people to get a quote from them. This will give you a base line to compare the other TA's pricing to.

We booked an April 2004 cruise in Oct of 2003 and the cruise has gone up nearly $2000 since then.

Just some other hints on getting the best price.

Good luck
