The BEST DVC perk.

We said that on one of the trips we are gonna take a day or two and drive to each of the DVC resorts and truly see which one would be our favorite. He is kinda wondering what all the fuss is about in regards to BCV and BWV.

Explore BWV at night. It comes to life.

We are transitioning from commando to the laidback DVC style. Our last two visits we have gone with the more relaxed pace, shorter visits to the parks and soaking in the atmosphere. We are considering foregoing:eek: WDW next year and going to Vero Beach for a week. We went to VB last year for a couple of nights after WDW. We enjoyed the resort, but the stay was too short.

I cant wait to have one of those relaxing trips, my wife and I keep bringing Grandchildren with us, no relaxing there. However this time in October there are 8 of us going down, including our children. We have already told them, that we are going to have me time this time. All I would like is one afternoon that my wife and I can walk around the World Showcase and explore the countries, we never get to do that. With the food and wine fest on it will make it doubly fun.

My wife and I just got back from 13 days in The World, and I took almost the same picture, with my wife:

But I one-upped you: here's the shot looking straight up :rotfl2:

And I totally agree ... these laid back moments are the GREATEST DVC perk of all.

And: I LOVE the Poly hammocks. We made a special trip over there just to enjoy them. I wish they had them at more resorts. (I think Coronado Springs has them, too, but I haven't seen them anywhere else...)

Not at all - feel free to post away.:goodvibes

It was The Post-Birthday World by Lionel Shriver - It was Entertainment Weekly's top book of 2007. I liked it very much.

I also read Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Piccoult on the trip - which I thought was okay.

My favorite summer read is The Time Traveler's Wife. That gets my highest recommendation.

I agree regarding "The Time Traveler's Wife", although, it made me very sad and I am not even sure as to why it made me sad.

Thank you for sharing that great story!

We can't do frequent trips to WDW, but do enjoy our annual 14-day trips. Having that much time really lets us relax.
