The best bag for Disney?

Wow there is SO much information here.

I am looking at maybe getting one of these Overland Donner bags. Am a little worried if the strap isn't comfortable as that could really bother me. Is it really a big deal?

I am planning on carrying a light sweatshirt, a camera, some miscellaneous first aid stuff, and maybe a lanyard and pins - it should hold all of that fine?

I'm a little worried about the no zipper thing as I do like the thrill rides. I will be checking out all the other links people posted today!

Overlander Doner has a zipper on the top of it. I like it better then a flap over the top. It still has a flap, but on the side and it isn't hard to get assess to what is inside.

It should fit what you want just fine depending on how bulky your sweatshirt is. If it is light (as you said) you should be fine.

The only time I have used it I was wearing a jacket, so the strap didn't bug me at all. It might when I have a tank top on.

I should be getting the pacer bag any day now. Come on UPS man. :dance3:

My Ebags Piazza day bag just arrived. I like it. :thumbsup2 Its lightweight & padded but not stiff. Lining is light grey so easy to see contents. Ebags really thinks of its features. I got it in boring black, but I might order a 2nd one in a fun color for summer as I think this will become my everyday pocketbook now. I like cross-body bags for security & hands-free shopping.

Is the strap comfy??? I feel so behind in deciding this!

In the past I've worn one of those bags with strings that cinches and is worn like a backpack. I made them for me and DF and I love how lightweight and easy it is to wear but it is a pain searching for stuff at the bottom!

ohhh, i am so glad to hear u like your piazza bag, i cant wait to get mine...i have the willow colour coming and really hoping i like it!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh - I saw it earlier and I did think it was cute! And it comes in purple

Would it fit a lightweight women's sweatshirt? REALLY lightweight - more like a tshirt with a hood and a zipper?

The strap on the Ebags Piazza bag is 1.5" wide & somewhat of a softer webbing than I have on another bag I've used for years. It literally just arrived so I haven't loaded it & worn it yet. lol I'm used to the strap on my old bag, so this one should be fine. There is no padding in the strap but softer than some backpack stiff webbings. Also, I'm not petite at all. About a 1X size with large chest & the strap is plenty long for bag to hang cross body & by my front hip -- with strap left over.

I just got my pacer bag. As my DH said I really don't need yet another bag (how many of these are you getting?????)

Still it should be perfect for when the Donner is too big.

I want it for times that I only want my camera, cell phone, tickets, ID, cash and room card and maybe hand cream and a few other small things like that. The camera fits in the back pocket so I have easy access to it, but the strap might get uncomfortable fast.

Bigger stuff I can keep on the stroller (and not worry about it getting stolen.

I think the Piazza is just a tiny bit smaller than Overlander if I remember from looking at dimensions. I suppose it would depend on what size shirt it is & how much other stuff you have in the bag already. But yes, a sweatshirt would fit in it.

Thanks for all the info! Whatever bag I take HAS to fit a sweatshirt otherwise I will be miserable in super air conditioning. I remember getting stuf on the Haunted mansion at a part with cold air blowing on me and I was SOOO glad to have a sweatshirt with me.

From the pic at ebags it looks like the buckle is at the top, by the neck, so I hope that wouldn't be annoying. I am not a big purse person so I want something as practical as possible (except NOOOO fanny packs).

It looks like the strap is adjustable too, which is good. Soooo many decisions :lmao:

Oh, the sweatshirt would be a large. Women's large (or junior's maybe) so probably not too bulky

I have also found that when or if the strap is bugging me I can pull it as tight as it goes and wear it around my waist as kind of a sling hip pack. Not the best look, but it works for Disney world in a pinch.

My real only problem is I won't be able to decide between the 2 on which ones I want to use and will end up with both (and that will bug DH because he will end up carrying one of them. ) The big one I can keep on the back of the stroller I guess.

Well by the time I adjusted the strap, the buckle was down around my upper chest, so it wasn't a problem with top of shoulder. That is wearing bag cross body. Its also a nice small sleek buckle that holds. Not like the baggalini heavy buckle that kept sliding.

Ebags has a very easy return policy....and they pay for the return shipping if I remember correctly.

OK I flip flopped between this and the overland donner several times and ended up getting this one! I also added the Bistro waistpack which I will gift to my mom for xmas so that way I could use the 10% off + free shipping with orders over $35. Since the bag was around $32 before the code and the total was $40 it was like getting the gift for $8! I went through ebates too - not bad! Thanks for all the info on it - I really liked that it was a bit smaller and that the strap seemed more comfortable. Also that the entire bag was the color I picked - cause I was worried about the blac parts in the hot FL sun!! :cool1:

I have a J Crew shoulder bag that works really well and looks stylish - all at the same time!

I got my Piazza bag and have been using it a bit. My only complaint is that when I wear it across the body the bag continually shifts to the front of me rather than staying on my hip. Maybe it's something about how I walk or how long I have the strap - does anyone else have this issue?

Great. I signed on this board to look for ways to save money and just spent $37 on the Overland Donner bag! :) :rotfl2:
Thanks ladies and fellow bag addicts!

For those of you who have the eBags brand Piazza bag....would I be able to fit a large DSLR camera in the main part?

I have the baggalini! But, are wanting a good bag for a cruise also!:lmao:

sherry7-hi there, just wanted to let you know that i have a canon s5 and i have adapter and uv filter on it...it fits with room to spare in the piazza...i bought a "scooba" wrap that i put it in when in there....if i have my big wallet in, it is too tight a fit(but it does work)...but i figure when i "do" disneyland in may:cool1: my wallet will not be in there....have a great night

Thank you Sharon, that info is very helpful. :) My Sony A350 is considerably larger than your S5, but it still gives me a good point of reference.

Is the Scooba wrap one of those neoprene covers? Where did you find it at? Is it easy to get on and off?
