How are the beds in a Bay Lake Tower studio? We stayed in a studio at the Poly and hated the bed. I'm a little afraid of being in the same boat with Bay Lake, so I'm curious if anyone has any reviews of the beds?

Beds are very user specific, just like Goldilocks:) DW and I like a firm bed and found the beds at GF to soft.

We’ve stayed in a 1BR, 2BR and GB at BLT I think the beds are firm. They’re ok, but a bit firm for my liking. Better than too soft though.

I have had spine surgery so am pretty sensitive to an uncomfortable bed and have found the beds at both Poly (Tokelau) and BLT to be comfortable.

I have had spine surgery as well, which is where my concern lies. The bed at Tokelau in February was very difficult for me -- I woke up nearly every time I had to turn over. We had stayed part of the week at a different resort where the beds were incredibly comfortable, so it was a hard switch.

It's a subjective thing, comfort. I've had two discectomies on my L5-S1 (2010 and a redo in 2014). I sleep at home and on vacation with an extra pillow under my knees which has helped tremendously (and when I lay on my side, the pillow goes between my knees). A bed that is too firm is preferable to too soft (too soft will kill me) but I've found the beds at both DVC resorts (and BWV) to work great.

Now the guest bed at my parents house? Ooof...that's like laying on a bed of nails lol!

I had surgery that I can't pronounce or spell without looking it up on L5/S1 too! *high fives* I guess I'll just have to see what I think when I get there -- but I'm nervous! Thanks for the input!

I have back problems as well. We hated the beds at the Poly. Even my DH who has no issues found them rock hard. In the past the beds at BLT have been fine for us.

I have started traveling with my own egg crate mattress pad that I use on the beds which helps somewhat. It didn't help at the Poly as those beds are so hard.

Plan on BLT to be the same as Polynesian VB with the studio a lot smaller at BLT.

This!
DW has had 2 back surgeries and we never travel without her leg pillows, it helps her a lot. And we both prefer a firmer bed over a softer bed.

I stayed there in October and I had the best sleep I have ever had. The mattress was not too firm and not too soft. The pillows were really nice too!!
