Really. Been to teppanyuki and done that (#4)!!! My neice actually threw up on the floor of the restaurant.....couldn't even wait till after illuminations....it was that good!?!!??!?!
Well thanks for that. Really. Made me want to Yak.
I feel hono(u)red and privileged that you take all of us to the bathroom with you. In WDW. In Canada, even. Reminds me of someone. Do you have a poop song too?
I really should know better than to read your trip report whilst trying to drink diet coke...as it usually ends up being snotted out my nose...which actually really hurts...and it's not very lady like either... Normally I can laugh and drink at the same time but your brand of funny tends to jump out so hugely that I'm taken by surprise! AND I was laughing and coughing so hard that my puppy got excited and bit my toe...
I too am grossed out by the extraordinary lack of manners in the seat giving arena these days. My husband is always the first to jump up if elderly people or pregnant people or really any people who look like they need a seat more than he does. He's quality I tell you!!!
Sorry you had to experience the dreaded #4 in a public restroom... But at least you made it to the potty...cuz the alternative would have just been too horrible to imagine.
I hope all is well in your tummy now and in your home full of little girls!
can't wait for the next installment aka the...*ahem* fallout from the ginger flavored meal consisting of Japanese laxatives!!!
Oh ZZUb, this is my first reply to your TR, This last installment had me laughing out loud. I have crohn's disease and have had a number 4,5,6 at the World. I have be "on the search" for a bathroom at every park...Now I can tell you where a bathroom is no matter where you are in the world.
Thank you for sharing your trip, it is a joy to read.
I also want to say congrats on your new little one, little princess's are GREAT.
ZZub....I am a lurker no more.....you TR, so far has had me
when I got to installment 21, I was like...."OMG ?!?" I think that the bathroom locations should have a flashing NEON light over them, so that you can find one when you NEED it.
Can't wait to read more.
Oh, and as a Japanese connoisseur, it's not so much the ginger, as it is the butter that they cook with. Just my experience......
OH, where to begin.
1. I thought I was the only person on the face of the earth that actually used lamaze breathing to get thru those sorts of moments, successfully, I might add.
2. I also have spent time pondering the Land Pavillions elevator...read my trip report and you'll know why.
3. I just got done downloading Sweet Home Alabama and various other classics to my sons MP3 last night and thought that was HILARIOUS!
I just love me some ZZUB updates!
And thanks very much for letting me relive our recent experience to Teppanyaki!
No staring.
Yes pooping!
And YAKing!
Teappanyaki had the same effect on DS this March. He did make it "home". Not to Canada (that is real home) but to our room at AKL. Canada is better. Because of the smell
Once I recovered from my horrific flashback, I found this:
I shoved my wifes chair to the side and ran into the bathroom like a man possessed, shouting No whammy, no whammy, no whammies!
Well I started reading all your TR's on Monday and I have finally caught up. I have laughed and cried with this last one. I love your writing style and the way you evoke so many different emotions for us readers.
I pray that everything goes well for you and your wife!
I read your latest installment and immediately had to find Mel's post in your trippee ... you guys crack me up! I will be sure to remove Teppanyaki from any list of must do's. Thanks for the heads up
Oh my gosh! That report was hysterical! I was laughing out loud with tears streaming down my face. (Thank goodness I didn't read it at work!) I made my husband read it and have never seen him laugh so hard. Thanks so much for your honesty and your great humor.
You had me in crying by the time I got to the "NO WHAMMY, NO WHAMMIES" part. I was literally laughing out loud and holding my chest. Thanks to you I now have some weird form of smokers cough from laughing so hard and the funny thing is I don't smoke! Thanks for your incredible reports you put so much of yourself into your writing. It makes me feel like I was right there with you and your family. Thank goodness I wasn't I hate stomach troubles so after reading your thread I will make sure to NEVER, NEVER eat at Japan!!!!! Maybe this is why they are closing down the place and renovating? Too many people getting sick ! Enjoy your new baby!! And enjoy your next trip to WDW I will be looking forward to hearing about it!!!! Hey BTW...did you name the baby Yolanda? I have not read all the chapters and would love to know what you named her? Thanks again for a very much needed LAUGH!
