Busy! Jake's t-ball game first thing this morning and then he had a birthday party this afternoon--Cars at a theater and then cake at the boy's house, but he insisted that I go, too...the only mother who had to stay. I know that before long he won't want me anywhere near him, but when??? The funny thing is that he knows all the kids (all classmates except for one, who is his preschool best friend), and Jake is hardly a shy kid. Don't tell the DIS birthday police!

Now I have to get rid of a headache so I can go to the grocery store. Just another fun-filled day!

Awww, Tig is on my lap. , but he's not a lap cat so I have to hold him here! He's funny, he purrs, but he doesn't want to be on the lap normally. Venus (my signature kitty) started swatting (playing) with Belle, who was swatting back (not so much playing). They are so funny. Tig is off now.

Teva, funny that you would notice Shug's computer screen. You are good!

Cars was good. It was a bit long for the kids, but they seemed to enjoy it overall. Me, being the sap I am, got misty-eyed in one part, but that's too be expected...

PP the cat has been declawed but you couldn't prove it by him! He's been trying to scratch at it all day but getting very frustrated. Poor kitty.

Just got back from having dinner at my favorite place Cheeseburger In Paradise. Had a Bleu Cheese Burger with onion straws and a wicked Banana Beach Fizz. I have no idea what's in it but I love it! I was a little woozy at Walmart afterwards Dh had the classic burger from the song and a Mojito that I thought was awful but he said was great. Anybody else like CIP?
