The BALD and the BEAUTIFUL go to DIZZY world! 4/2 epcot!

There's nothing worse than falling asleep after your alarm goes off:scared1: Glad everything turned out just fine though:cool1:

The girls look gorgeous with their hair all done:cutie: Jayden...cute as ever.

Woot woot for a good flight...can't wait for more....I'm still laughing about the sweatshirt...you'd think they'd ask that beforehand wouldn't you:confused3

What a bunch of cuties! How funny with the sweathshirt. Looks like the big girls are a great help with the baby.:thumbsup2

The flight was uneventful and extremely smooth. Jayden was a great little boy and rarely got fussy.

I made sure to feed him his bottle right before take-off. And when he wasn’t eating he would just lie down on my lap and smile and coo. He also slept for about 45 mins of the flight, which was just lovely.

Florida025.jpg

Reya was also pretty well-behaved on the flight. She just played her Leapster 2 and ate a bunch of her snack foods. She LOVED flying and wasn’t scared at all!

Florida037.jpg

She loved staring out the window and watching the clouds go by.

Florida019.jpg

Landing on the other hand scared the POO out of me, just like it always does. I tried to put on a straight face so I wouldn’t freak Reya out too much. I loved being able to see Disney from up in the air, but I was close to hyper ventilating and couldn’t keep my eyes open the closer we inched toward the ground. Jayden was sleeping in my arms and I was squeezing him for dear life.

Once I was able to breathe again and we were safely off the plane, we headed to baggage claim.

All the luggage also made it safely to Orlando. After picking all of it up, we then proceeded to Budget to pick up our rental cars.
We ended up upgrading to a Nissan Rouge and my BIL upgraded to a Jeep commando. The reason for this was just room. I figured an extra $8.00 a day wasn’t too bad.

We arrived to our hotel around 3:00 PM….. Check-in was easy, but I was really disappointed because I didn’t get the room location that I wanted. OH WELL!! I’m also not in love with our room. It serves it’s purpose and it’s big enough for all of us, but it’s not as nice as I had liked. ((Sorry, I haven’t taken any pictures of the inside and it’s too cluttered to take them now)) It does have some pretty amazing Jacuzzi’s in the master bedrooms though.

After we brought all of our luggage up to the room and put some items away we decided to go grab an early dinner .

What an action-packed first day. Had a good chuckle when I read about the no shirt security part.

Me too..... We were still talking about it today. :lmao:

Yay, you're there! :cheer2:

I'm still :lmao: over Victor and his shirt. That is SO funny! I already told DH and I'll be telling quite a few other people that story today. Thanks for the laugh!

You weren't kidding about your nieces being very into vampires. They're BOTH wearing twilight stuff! Too funny.

How cute the girls all look with their hair done up. They all look ready to go.

Can't wait to hear how Jayden did on the flight. DS has always been a very good flier, even as a baby, so I'm hoping Jayden is a good flier as well!

Excited to hear about the rest of your day!

Say hi to Mickey for us!

They are addicted to Twilight.... Twilight and Vampire Diaries. I guess I'm to blame though, I got them started on the kick.

I thought the girls looked cute with matchng hair too... Reya always wants to be "Just like her girls"

Oh and Mickey says "Hi" back. :goodvibes

Yay for a safe flight! :cool1: I hate flying, too. DD has been a good flyer (she has been flying since she was 8 days old!) but she hasn't been on a plane since learning to walk, so we'll see about this time! I am so excited to read more about your trip!

I hope ashlynn doesn't give ya any grief. I'm sure it will go perfectly.

Yay! You made it safe and sound! Too funny about "the naked guy" story!

Have fun! Can't wait to read more, more, more!! :cool1:

Sara

Was so happy the flight went well..... Now I just gotta survive the flight back.

Yah! Awesome to hear you guys arrived safe and sound without too much trouble. The girls hair looks adorable all styled up like that and i luv your nieces twilight shirts. Haha that was hilarious about your BIL's shirt, too funny. Great update and hope you guys have a great day at the parks! Can't wait to hear all about it :cool2:

Thank you. :)

I think the girls have about a dozen twilight shirts, plus every other items that has ever been created that is Twilight related.

Thanks for reading. :goodvibes

Great start! I hate flying with a passion, but I'm glad your DD was excited for it! It probably made it a lot easier for you(: Can't wait to find out how everything goes

Thanks.... I think it's funny that my DD is terrified of Mickey Mouse, but loves to fly 35, 000 feet above the ground with NO problem.

Thank you!

I'm glad I had Marsha set her alarm too, or we probably wouldn't have made it on our flight at all. I'm also glad everyone is getting a kick out of my BIL being naked a the airport.

What a bunch of cuties! How funny with the sweathshirt. Looks like the big girls are a great help with the baby.:thumbsup2

Oh, they are.... Especially Breanna. And it's wonderful to have SIL here, she really helps out. There is no way we'd be able to take this trip if it wasn't for her.

Thanks for reading. :)

Glad to hear you had a safe flight. Landing always scares the behaitas out of me too. Jayden is such a cutie pie.:lovestruc

Thanks, it was much better then I thought it would be. Just landing. :scared1:

Yeah, I think Jayden is pretty darn cute too. :goodvibes

Wow, congrats on having such a smooth flight with all the kiddies.

Thanks. They were great.

I'm subbing. popcorn:: I love live TR's!

Glad to hear that you made it there safely. I was doing this :lmao: when I read about your BIL taking off his sweatshirt! :lmao:

Looking forward to hearing more.

Glad the flight went so well! Jayden must have been happy with a full tummy and soft people to sleep on! You said he loves to be held, so he was probably in his element. Silly Mommy, all that worrying for nothing!

Glad Reya liked flying! They don't know enough about gravity to be scared at her age!

Sorry the hotel isn't what you wanted, but it will do, you just sleep there, anyway. You'll be spending tons of time out and about. Plus, you can't beat a jacuzzi to soak your poor feet after a day in the park!

Can't wait to hear about DTD, and see your lovely new bouncy chair! :lmao:

Great trip report! You are so motivated to actually post while on vacation! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to hearing more!

Im so glad you had a safe flight. I was wondering how you did. ;) Im so glad to hear you are all there and ready for all the fun! Can't wait for the next update:cool1:

You made it! :yay: I can't wait to read about your first day at Disney! I loved the airport security stories. I wonder what my husband would have done if they told him he had to remove his sweatshirt. I forgot to throw out my water bottle last time I flew. It was in my purse. The TSA guy was cool about it and calmly fished it out of my purse and tossed it in the trash can. I had totally forgotten about it. I was so careful with the liquid toiletries and had them in a ziplock bag, etc. but blew it with the water bottle!:rotfl:

That's awesome that you guys made it safe and sound and that the flight wasn't too bad. Your daughters hair looks so cute done up like that and Jayden is sure a cutie. Hope you guys are having a great time down there:cool1:

We will be in The World March 28-April 1 celebrating my son's 4th birthday, so I am looking forward to reading your TR and seeing how your DD enjoys everything this time around! We were there when DS was 2, but I am sure this will be a whole new experience this time and I am so excited! I hope you guys are having a great time!

Ugh--I hate rushing around after you wake up late!! I think we all have been there at one time or another.

:cheer2: for the flight going fairly smoothly!! :( I hope you do show some pictures even with not liking it.

Looking forward to more updates as you get the time and have energy!! :surfweb:

March 4th- Day 1 (Continued)

When we arrived in DTD it was FREEZING!! I forgot to mention that Orlando has been experiencing record lows for this time of year. :sad2:

We went straight to TREX in hopes that we would be seated. I wasn’t able to secure reservations for any day that we were here so I wasn’t very hopeful.:confused3

Florida117.jpg

Once we walked in, Reya FREAKED out! :scared1: As soon as she saw the BIG TREX in the entrance she was in full-blown tears.

Florida089.jpg

We were all trying hard to downplay everything for her as we were standing in line so she wouldn't be so scared. We pointed out the cool octopus and all the fish at the bar.

Florida087.jpg

We pointed at the cool planets on the ceiling.

Florida088.jpg

And then we pointed out the BIG lady bug on the wall…….. Once she noticed that massive bug, she was screaming at the top of her lungs. :scared1: You would have thought the world was coming to an end. I’ve never seen her react that way to ANYTHING.

Florida091.jpg

At this time I was thinking that this wasn’t such a good idea and we shouldn’t even waste our time seeing if they had room for us. :sad2: But Uncle Victor slowly started easing her mind a bit and she calmed down.

Florida092.jpg

Once we got up to the podium they told us it would be a 5 minute wait! ((SCORE)) :woohoo:

We were lead to our table, and were seated in the Ice Cave area.

Florida095.jpg

Florida103.jpg

The menu looked good, but I was a little shocked by the prices. After we sat down and Reya was given her crayons, she calmed down completely and nothing else phased her. :goodvibes

Florida105.jpg

While we were waiting for our food to arrive I took a quick look around the restaurant.

Florida106.jpg

Florida109.jpg

Florida107.jpg

Will and I ordered the Nacho’s and Steak Sandwich to share. The Nacho’s were Y-U-M-M-Y!!

Florida114.jpg

The “girls” shared the sampler, Victor got the Burger, and I’m not sure what Marsha ordered? Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. ( I wasn’t fond of the steak sandwich.) :guilty: Will and I could have just shared the Nacho’s and been fine, it was HUGE and delicious.

Halfway through dinner, Jayden woke up from his nap. This is what he looked like!!

Florida113.jpg

I guess he was a little shocked to wake up in a glowing ice-cave!:rotfl:

Day 1 to be continued ……….

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

((sorry, it’s taking so long to get these posts updated.. I underestimated what time and energy I would have to do this))

I promise to get to everyone’s comments soon!

Thanksi and thanks for reading!

WELCOME!

I'm so glad everything went smoothly!
Thanks

I was shocked at how well the flight went. Was proud of myself and both my kids.

Jayden definately has a "SOFT" mommy to lay on.

can you believe I have yet to use the jacuzzi...... I've been so busy and I'm so exhausted when I get back to the room that I go straight to bed.

Great trip report! You are so motivated to actually post while on vacation! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to hearing more!

You're welcome and thanks for reading.

Wish I could keep up with everything on a daily basis, but don't have the time and energy. I've been noting everything when I get back to the room though.

Im so glad you had a safe flight. I was wondering how you did. ;) Im so glad to hear you are all there and ready for all the fun! Can't wait for the next update:cool1:

Thanks.

You made it! :yay: I can't wait to read about your first day at Disney! I loved the airport security stories. I can't believe that I put water in his bottles..... Dumb blonde move on my part. I'm just so used to preparing all of his bottles before I leave the house that I wasn't even thinking about the liquid rules at the airport. Oh well, you live and learn.

That's awesome that you guys made it safe and sound and that the flight wasn't too bad. Your daughters hair looks so cute done up like that and Jayden is sure a cutie. Hope you guys are having a great time down there:cool1:

Thank you! Her auntie did her hair, she's been doing it everyday since we've been on the trip. ((So glad to have her here))

I think JT is a cutie too... we've been getting a lot of compliments on his cuteness!

We are having a great time.... Just wish it was about 5 degress warmer.

He's going to LOVE it.... I've noticed a BIG difference at how Reya is handling things since we took her a couple of years ago. I can't wait to tell everyone about it.

Thanks for reading. (when does your son turn 4?) Reya's 4th birthday is march 25th.

Ugh--I hate rushing around after you wake up late!! I think we all have been there at one time or another.

:cheer2: for the flight going fairly smoothly!! :( I hope you do show some pictures even with not liking it.

Looking forward to more updates as you get the time and have energy!! :surfweb:

usually before a trip I'm up and running early.... but this time I just couldn't wake up for anything. I'm glad that SIL was there to wake me.

Sorry it's taking so long to get updates. Today is sorta a relaxing day so I'm trying to get pictures uploaded and some posts. ((Also the internet connection here sucks... So it's been hard getting anything done on my computer))

I wasn't able to get an ADR for Thanksgiving lunch but the whole restaurant was empty.:confused3 I'm glad to hear Reya calmed down. Jayden's reaction is too funny.
I hope it warms up for you. I'm a Floridean and I think this is the coldest March ever. Better cold then really hot, right?

Awww that's too bad that Reya didn't like the restaurant at first, but hopefully that changed for the better. That's strange that you couldn't get a reservation and yet were able to be seated that quickly. And that's an adorable picture of Jayden, he looks so cute! Hope you guys are having a great time and that the weather warms up!
