That only applies on the return flight home. Then you will have to take care of your own luggage as southwest is not a participating disney airline.

They will DEFINITELY take your luggage to your hotel if you attach the yelllow ME tags to them

I flew Southwest the past two years and they took my luggage to my hotel

I'm pretty sure that as long as you're doing ME, they'll get your luggage for you. Just be sure to attach the yellow tags they sent you in the mail like Sharky said. I wonder why the CM would even tell you something like that.

I found sunglasses yesterday---cheapos, $15....I hope they hold up! I saw some at Dillards on sale today and I contemplated buying one of the nicer pairs ($30 on sale...not too bad) but I just couldn't justify it so I walked away.

I did...I bought one! Now I have to decide if I want to wear it, or just wear the one my cousin lent me.

This is gonna sound crazy but I think I can fix my black bra. Let's see if I can explain how this bra works. Okay, I don't have to explain it. Just go to VS's website and find: Sexy Little Things® Adjustable push-up bra...there's a piece in the center that adjusts, well all it's made of is a little piece of fabric that attaches the 2 cups. That piece popped. So I can stitch it back to save the bra. I'm going to attempt that today and I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

Thanks! My throat is still sore today but not as bad. I hope it just goes away. If it doesn't by tomorrow I'm going to call my Dr. and get in so I can get some antibiotics and/or a shot to drive it away!

I've started working on my list. I did some shopping yesterday and today. I'd like to share these things with you, as well as some items I bought a while back and never posted.

I got these at the dollar tree of all places:

I have to figure out a way to attach this to my door

I still need to color this....I thought I may put this on our window!

Here are some skechers flipflops I got yesterday

(and that price you see is not what I paid. They were $8)

it hits well below the knee...which is why I decided to go look for a dress of my own that is a little shorter

I could not find an all white dress, but I found this one at Dillards for under $20..

I got the opinion of the lady at the register--she told me that the shoes were "too white" for that dress. I knew they would go with the other dress so I bought them anyway. Now I'm trying to decide which dress to wear.

I know it's too hard to tell by the pictures, but feel free to give your input.

(Yes, he has GIGANTIC feet. He has the feet of a basketball player, but is only 5'9")

And lastly...here's something I picked up a couple months ago

I already cut them off the backing, which is the hard part. Now I have to decide how I'm going to write on them and laminate them. Oh yeah, did I mention I bought a laminating machine? (Walmart $25)

For our trips to BCV and AKV, I just used scotch tape to attach our door sign to the door. I used quite a lot so it would stay on and it did. It also didn't leave a mark when it came off.

Love that you will fix your unmentionables! I totally would fix one if it were possible. Don't you love finding clothes on clearance at Dillards? I bought a pair of Jessica Simpson shoes for $23 marked down from $84! I definately wouldn't pay that much for a pair of shoes regular price. But, YAY me and YAY you for finding a dress under $20. What did she mean those shoes were "too white"? Isn't the dress white white? Did she mean you would be wearing too much white? Like PP said, we'll have to see it. Good job on the shopping trip. Where did you find a pair of Sketchers for $8?

So when I finally got him to try on an expensive pair he loved them but they didn't have them in the size he wanted! So I finally just ordered him some off of zappos.com and he's been wearing those sine. I'm glad they're still in good shape so he can wear them again this time to WDW. I hope Mike likes the sandals you bought him. It seems to always take us women to get things like that done for our men, why is that?

And since you can't tell in the pictures now, you certainly wouldn't be able to tell in the pictures you do at WDW. If you want you could always try on the dress with the shoes and then have Mike take a full body picture of you so you can see how it will look in the pictures.

First off you and your hubby make a lovely couple, can I ask how long you have been married and how you met? (sorry if you have already posted it somewhere before). I loved your mini trippie, I love seeing all the different parts of the US and different celebrations, everything seems so fun and interesting. We don't do anything fun like that over here . I loved the house you stayed in, that would be a perfect summer house for me I feel. The view was amazing, and the garden with the pool and jetty, how cool

I tried them on and to me it looks fine...if the dress were longer maybe it wouldn't have worked, but being there's enough distance between the shoes and the dress, I think it works just fine. The one concern I have now is since the dress isn't SUPER white (can't tell unless i hold it up to the OTHER dress from my cousin) I wonder if it will go with Mike's shirt. I need to go through his closet and see what he has (since HE won't )

The dress looks white-white to me, BUT when I hold it up to the shoes, I think it's because they are patent leather--the shoes look a little whiter than the dress.
A place called Goody's. Both flip flops were $8. I don't ever pay more than that for flip flops anyway. Okay, I lied, I did buy a pair for $15 last year in Destin....Roxy's.

thanks! Well, that's the problem--I don't know! And neither does he. I've told him several times that he needs to figure out what he will wear. I am gonna have to see what he has, and show him tonight. If he doesn't like what I pick, well, he might have to go shopping too!
I just don't want to be cutting it too close.

I think he'd look good with black shorts or pants, but I know he won't want to do black slacks or jeans. So he might have to buy some black shorts since he doesn't own any.

Then again if I change my mind on the dress...

Here's a little update. I tanned today with my tingle lotion, which I think helped alot. I'm going to make it a point to tan every day--so Tomorrow, Wed, Thurs, and Fri. Wednesday I'm getting my hair cut.

If I'm not around during the day it is because I'll be at a Hurricane site helping out with the aftermath of Gustav, as well as preparations for Ike. Though it looks like Ike is having less and less of a probability of hitting here. That would be great because I am worried about our flight and the weather!! As a reminder, we take off at 8 am Saturday morning.

So, the reason I am going to help the hurricane crew instead of my regular job is because they are planning on cancelling vacations next week for Evacuation team members (something I had feared) and my boss, knowing how badly I'd been wanting this trip, said that if I volunteered in this other location she could put me on the "Auxillary team" thereby taking me off the evacuation team, and SAVING MY VACATION!!! I wanted to kiss her then and there!!!!!!!!

Just having that possibility in the back of my mind had me really down lately, and I couldn't get excited. (The other thing is money, but I just have to let go of that because the economy sucks for everyone right now, and I'm not letting it stop me from my fun!)

Oh, did I mention.....I'm excited now! 5 more days!!!

Here's a little list I made of things I wanted to take pictures of on this trip:

1. in the house before we leave, in the car on the way to the airport, and in the airport (remember Mike wouldn’t let me last year, but screw him. )
2. Ride & Restaurant signs
3. Ride queues
4. all my food (counter service included) – we did pretty good with this last year, except when we were REALLY starving
5. all my alcoholic beverages
6. whenever possible, pics inside the ride/attraction
7. the lobby, and everything in the room when we arrive—and after we “set up”
8. when our luggage arrives (or when we find it in the room, anyway)
9. The Magical express bus/line/etc
10. Mike and I each morning before we leave
11. breakfast, no matter how small or insignificant (including coffee) -- I can’t remember what we had each day last year
12. our fastpasses (okay maybe I will be too busy running around when I get these but I will try to remember to take the pic before we use them)
13. the inside of the Adventurer’s Club
14. the whole gang at the Hippi dippi party
15. transportation to and from the parks/resorts
16. inside the resorts where we are eating
17. The tip envelopes for the maid as we leave them each morning
18. and I know there has got to be stuff I’m missing!

If anyone has suggestions of what I should add to this list...feel free to post em here. (Not promising I'll actually GET all these pics though )

I forgot to mention something pretty cool! A few weeks ago, I won tickets to Cypress Gardens in the Screamscape.com giveaway!
They are only good til the end of this year, so we probably won’t be able to go, but it’s still cool that I won something!! I will probably try to sell them on Ebay that way I can at least get some cash for them. Unless someone here is interested? (Cypress Gardens is about an hour’s drive south of Orlando)

I never win anything so that was pretty exciting for me!

I thought about taking them with us to WDW and seeing if anyone we run into wants to buy them Might be a little tacky of us though.


Some other thoughts...

I’m concerned with taking our laptop….that wouldn’t have to count as a carry-on, right? Can Mike use that as his “personal item”? (We’re flying Southwest) I’ll have my purse so that’s my “personal item”. Last year, Mike had a newspaper as his personal item. If he wants a newspaper this time he can put it in the laptop case or his carry on. Think this plan will work?
Also, we don’t have a leather laptop bag. They are just so expensive! The one we have is a durable cloth bag. I found it at Big Lots for only $25.00. I took it to and from the hospital and it worked just fine for that but I’m concerned about flying. Should we invest in a better laptop bag/case?
FYI my camera case will go INSIDE my carry-on bag as we board the plane so that won’t count as a separate item.

Four For A Dollar (known as Return 2 Zero when performing off Disney property), the a cappella group that has performed the preshow at Disney's Hollywood Studios' Beauty and the Beast show for many years, will have their last performance on September 20.---- I really enjoyed this group, so we might go see one last performance by them. I wasn’t planning on seeing Beauty and the Beast again, but I might just so we can see Four for a Dollar. (And hey, Gaston is pretty easy on the eyes. In the last showing I saw, Gaston was a lot better looking than the prince)

Like I said, this is completely random, so I'm just bouncing around topics.

I think I may have briefly mentioned how I wanted to buy some pins off of ebay (for trading) before this trip, but it just wasn't in the cards this year. So no pin trading for me. Maybe next time!

I'll have to post the rest of my TO-DO list later. Tonight I really need to pack some more, for sure!!! I'm so close!!!
