The Bachelor Season 19 Chris - Prince Farming NO SPOILERS

Did anyone see Blake Shelton on SNL this week? There was a "Bachelor" skit (called Farm Hunk, lol) where Blake played the farmer looking for love, and the different SNL ladies played the contestants. They all were former porn actresses living in Hollywood, but would all "love it!!!" if they could move to the country with Blake. He kept telling them it was extremely rural, there ware no people his age there, and they would be stuck on a farm with no access to the outside world. There was the one girl with a big sob story, and they kept interrupting each other with the "can I borrow him for a minute?" line. Blake played the guy really boring and bland, and the girls were all super crazy. It was really funny.

Yes! For some reason she is not one of my fav's, but I loved that she called him out for giving the rose to the girl who took her underware off. She went up a notch for me.

So if they get a rose on a date they don't have to go to the ceremony right? Also, if they don't receive a rose than they are gone? I am really not sure why he keeps some of them on as it is obviously they are not wife material for a farmer.

The girls who get a rose during the week (at group dates or on a one-on-one date) still go to the rose ceremony, but they are "safe". They don't get an additional rose, but they stand there with their roses from earlier.

As for why he keeps some of the girls around that are obviously not wife material, there is a lot of production involvement. I'm sure the show tells Chris, "hey, we know you are only interested in a few girls, but since you only have to get rid of a few each ceremony, could you keep this one and that one around for a while? They will be great for ratings!"

I think it's been happening the other way around on this season too. That a LOT of girls aren't so enamored with Chris after all. He's boring and just a horn dog, kissing every girl and keeping the ones who strip. That's why so many more are suddenly acting all bat sh*t crazy, not just Onion Girl.

Probably a lot of them don't have chemistry with Chris, want off the show and the producers & their handlers instead are saying to him, "Since you are out of the running, do you mind acting crazy for the drama & ratings instead?" Like Brit confronting Chris about keeping Kaitlyn just for taking off her panties. Becca suddenly saying she's a virgin too, to take the air out of Ashley I''s story. Did everyone see how Ashley couldn't even give a genuine high five

to Becca, and feel Becca was a kindred spirit, with the same values as her?

And Kelsey(?), the short, dark haired girl, suddenly acting so annoying and OBVIOUSLY phony with Chris. From the previews for next week, she's laying on the floor, can't breathe and they have to give her oxygen. Dramatic enough for everyone?

So glad crazy onion-girl Ashley went home. I was on the fence about Jillian and her black rectangles, but once she started talking on that date, I was so glad Chris sent her home.....

....Jillian had better abs than Chris....man, she wouldn't shut up.....I didn't like her from the beginning - glad she's gone.

I think that the sisters should have had a chance to talk with all the girls. I'd like to see if they would have still picked Jade or someone else.

There are so many of the girls we just don't really know very well because, well...we all KNOW ABOUT ASHLEY BEING A VIRGIN IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY THERE IS TO KNOW IT....and this has taken up such precious time from other girls!

Good GRIEF I'm so tired of that girl's drama! Enough already! So you're a virgin! So WHAT! I want to know more about the other girls. And...in doing a little research about the girls, I like to click on images. And....

The gal the sisters chose...the fresh face one from Nebraska? Oh my. She's got some interesting history and it's right out there for Gawd and everyone to see. I am imagining the sisters are hooting it up assuming they've done some digging on the girls.

I will agree with some folks who have said this season is boring but I can't put my finger on the reason why.

I know people don't want spoilers in this thread, and I will avoid them. But, a general question. Those of you who don't do the "spoiler" thing, do you ever google the names of the contestants? You can avoid spoilers and still learn some very, eh, interesting things about some of the contestants. They may not be exactly as they are portrayed on the show. Poetic license is taken by the producers. LOL (Big surprise...NOT!)

No, I don't google the contestants unless I'm ok with being spoiled. I made that mistake twice and was disappointed.

Different strokes for different folks. I watch this series for fun, and because it's SOOOOO ridiculous. I find it MORE fun (not less) to know the spoilers because I can see how absurdly the producers are manipulating the contestants AND the audience. Makes me laugh.

I'm never surprised when the relationships don't last (as most don't). More surprising to me is when they do. LOL.
